Who is hiring?Who is hiring?

The Columbus Chamber predicts that education, health and social-services jobs will grow 2.4 percent this year, the greatest growth among 10 categories in central Ohio. Another field projected to gain jobs is transportation and utilities, which the chamber report says will add 1.6 percent.

Check out the company’s website and know some specific facts you can discuss or form into a questionHave your resume in front of you when on the phone and be prepared to discuss in detail your work/school/activity historyHave a set of success stories from your schooling/activities/job prepared to share. These should include times when you were faced with a problem, how you overcame the problem, and the ending positive result

Face to Face InterviewFace to Face Interview

Always give yourself time to arrive at the interview 15 minutes early. Never put yourself in a position where you have to rush to the interview, if it can be avoided. Be well groomed and dress conservatively and professionally. Wear a suit and tie, or a suit with a blouse, dress shoes, etc. Wear a limited amount of jewelry and make-up. Avoid wearing strong cologne or perfume. Take a couple copies of your resume with you to the interviews.
