Tankoa Yachts is a tangible fact born from the huge passion for the sea and the

fascination towards the great enterprises of its founders. The shipyard was created

“thinking big”, purposely to build mega yachts and to give them an appropriate assistan-

ce after the sale. The mission of Tankoa is to be the partner of the yacht’s Owner in the

realization of his Dream, make route towards new destinations, excel in technology and

elegance and, last but not least, set free our unique identity and way of living on the sea.

The shipyard is placed in Genoa Sestri Ponente, in the heart of a beautiful country with

a millennial history and tradition in navigation and ships building. The location gives

the shipyard the added value of being in a strategic position in the Mediterranean sea.

Head office

A modern and vanguard five storey multi-service block for the

executive management, administration, technical and com-

mercial offices.

Sheds

A main structure of 3.600 square meters of cements by 18

meters in height, consisting of two climate controlled produc-

tion areas, each measuring 90 meters in length and 20 me-

ters in width. They both include an independent operational

department.

Quay

An over 250 meters long and 20 meters wide quay, where big

size vessels can be moored and stern to maneuvering in more

than 11.000 square meters of water surface to which a further

15.000 square meters were just added for extra berth. A small

equipped dock at the end of the quay provides mooring for

extra 8-10 medium size boats.

Since 20 years, Tankoa Yachts management team works together with Francesco

Paszkowski’s Design Studio starting from the concept arriving to the realization through

a natural and smooth process, sharing ideas, aiming to create the perfect shape with

the yacht Owner’s wishes.

The Plus of being Green

Tankoa shipyard build yachts following the last regulations in

terms of Maritime Pollution Prevention, achieving the special

Green Plus annotation. Our yachts go through the wind tunnel

test at Schiffbautechnische Versuchsanstalt LTD, in Vienna,

making sure that the engine exhausts which are sent through

the funnel do not interfere with the life on board. Tankoa’s

yachts obtained the double class certification: Lloyd’s and

RINA, along with the survey of the M.C.A.

Safety under control

Tankoa’s research and development team continuously work

to achieve the best safety and well-being on board. EMC and

power quality are amongst Tankoa’s main priorities and we

invest to reduce electromagnetic field pollution.

KarsalThe shipyard’s outstanding dock

The self-submerging dry-dock, christened “Karsal”, is Tankoa’s latest arrival made to

complete the shipyard structure. Karsal hauls out and launches yachts up to 100 meters

in length, 20 meters beam and 5 meters max draft.

The floating dry-dock is a useful tool that assures an after sales assistance to Tankoa’s

clients. Furthermore, it is an important equipment that allow us to assist the Owner in

reassessing or upgrading his yacht.
