SCOTT PILGRIM Introduces characters with names in text

boxes next to them embedded into film.

•First credited is studio which is ‘universal pictures’. This is transparent in the movie. •Then production company is credited. Both over the action, animated and with music from movie in background.

•Title of movie then appears on screen, animated to go with action and is slightly transparent in the movie, loud up beat music in background, creates good atmosphere with audience. Bright and appears in centre of picture, in-between characters.

•Then the main actors are introduced in large bright stand out letters. This is with a bright stand out funky background which is synchronous with the music.

CONTINUED...• Next it shows who the casting

is by and this is over a blue coloured background. White blocks of letters is used for it to stand out. The letters are still but with animations in the background.

Then next in the same scenario the music was credited . Followed by music supervisors.

Then the last person to be credited was the

director of the movie. This is a textbox over the movie and is in big white letters.

THE CONJURINGStarts off by introducing the two families

who are in the movie together.

The director is then introduced and throughout the credits there is dark loud mysterious music in the background with a hint of diegetic sound of swirling wind.

All credits are on dark backgrounds whether this is old pictures or old newspapers., which introduces genre of movie to audience.

All newspaper articles used lexical fields of haunted/horror. Letters where in basic black font to fit in with movie.

Title of movie comes last in order, in basic black and white to fit in over picture of main setting.

SHERLOCK HOLMES Credits are shown over picture frames of what is actually

happening in the action and writing is in old fashioned font used with old ink pen

Fast up beat music to create a pace about it and when the takes are frozen and turned into pictures an exaggerated slash is used to add to the dramatic atmosphere.

Main actor is credited next to a illustration of him, in black ink pen.

Then the title of film appears as if someone was writing it on an old piece of paper which shows time period set in.

Then other starring actors are introduced after credits.

Finally production companies introduced last.

SIGNS

Productions companies are first credited, has light peaceful non-diegetic music in the background.

Then main actors are introduced and this is simple black block letters over a blue slideshow with the same music in the background.

The slide then gets brighter and the music pick up into more dramatic music as the title appears on the screen.

Then it introduces the rest of the editors and this shown through title cards in the same font and style
