Titles We Will Be Using And Why

We will only use three titles, that follow the conventions of a teaser trailer. These will be the name of the film, the company producing the film, and the words “coming soon”. The title of the film is seen in most, if not all, teaser trailers and easily allows the film to be identifiable to the target audience, so they can look further into the upcoming film. Secondly, the title of the company is occasionally seen within teaser trailers, and we believe this will help us achieve a more professional finished product. Lastly, the words “coming soon” keep the audience alert as they will then look out for further announcements to when the film will be released.

Effects

The effects we will most likely be using will be a fade in and fade out on the words coming soon, as this helps the trailer to flow and not give a choppy, rough look to the finished product. For the title of the film, the effect of the text being handwritten would add to the teaser, and make it seem more interesting and appealing. I would use a handwriting effect as most films within the teen drama genre use hand written fonts for the title, as seen in the inspirations.

Inspiration

The following titles within the teen drama genre have inspired our titles. We wish to follow conventions with our titles, and as seen below, the majority of these titles have a handwritten font. In order to follow these conventions, we will be using a handwritten font, which also gives it a more personal feeling to the audience.
