STEP X• Stitch Color Sequence 2, the Cut Line and Tackdown.• After stitching, remove the hoop from the machine, but do NOT

remove the project from the hoop. Trim the excess fabric away from the design, cutting as close as possible without cutting the stitching.

STEP X• Cut a piece of StabilStick CutAway and a piece of fabric slightly

larger than the placement stitch. Peel away the paper backing and stick to the WRONG side of the fabric.

• Smooth fabric into place. The stabilizer functions as a lining for the fabric, and the two now function as one unit.

• Cover placement line with the now-lined applique fabric, making sure placement line is completely covered. Fabric should be right side up.

STEP X• Note - all fabric bowl sections and base use the same basic

instructions.• Hoop one layer of AquaMesh with one layer of BadgeMaster. • Stitch Color Sequence 1, the Placement Stitch.

STEP X• Prepare the applique fabric for the back of the bowl section. Cut

a piece of StabilStick TearAway and a piece of fabric slightly larger than the placement stitch. Peel away the paper backing and stick to the WRONG side of the fabric. Smooth fabric into place. The stabilizer functions as a lining for the fabric, and the two now function as one unit.

• Note - Depending on the weight of the fabric, you may need two layers of StabilStick TearAway as lining to prevent show-through of the gold details.

• Remove the hoop from the machine and turn over. • Place the applique fabric on the back of the hoop with the wrong

side against the stabilizer. • Tape in place. • Return the hoop to the machine.

STEP X• Change thread again in the top and bobbin to identical color before stitching.• Stitch color Sequence 6, the Cover Stitch.

STEP X• Stitch Color Sequence 5, the Front and Back Linework.

STEP X• Stitch Color Sequence 4, the Back Cut Line and Tackdown. • After stitching, remove the hoop from the machine and turn over.

Trim applique fabric close to the stitching. Return the hoop to the machine.

STEP X• Build the Fabric Bowl by placing the buttonettes of the bowl into the eyelets of the bottom base section

(12625-03 OR 12625-06), pulling the buttonettes to the outside of the bowl.

STEP X• Optional – alligator clamps, tweezers hemostats, stiletto or a tiny

crochet hook.• Assemble the Fabric Bowl side sections by inserting the four

buttonettes of one of the side section piece (12625-01 OR 12625-04) into the four eyelets on the next side section piece (12625-02 OR 12325-05). Continue with all 8 pieces until the sides of the bowl are together, forming a circle.
