Site Map Welcome to The Conference of Holbeck Moor

We’re excited to hold this space for all of you to think about the cultural future we need.

This booklet will help you navigate the site and choose which activities you want to take part in.

To hear the speakers and the other events you’ll need a Slung Low receiver and a set of headphones. Each space is broadcast on a different channel – you can change the channel on your receiver.

Any problems, with the equipment or anything else, one of the team in a Slung Low t-shirt or a red cap will always be able to help you out.

If in doubt, as with so much, head towards the Refreshments’ Tent: there’ll be someone to help and a cup of tea. Resident Poet Bohdan Piasecki will be

roaming around the conference throughout.

Display of anti-fascist football teams in the refreshment tent.

Our hopes for The Conference of Holbeck Moor

It’s been a long time since we’ve all been able to be together. And we know how much more it takes to get here now. Thank you.

We want these two days to be useful to you. If something doesn’t work for you, please make a change: change channels, change seats, go for a wander, put another log on the fire.

Assume good faith for as long as you can. We’re on hand to help the whole time.

And finally, by way of both over-arching metaphor and key practical advice,if you don’t like the packet of crisps you’ve been given, find someone with a flavour you like more who is willing to swop.
