Lunch Time Information from Our Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Owczarzak

Lunch Time Visitors Each student is allowed to have ONE GUEST PER MONTH. PLEASE CALL TO RESERVE YOUR DATE. RESTAURANT/FAST FOOD & SODAS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Parents purchase lunch in the cafete-ria cost is $2.75. This cannot come off the student’s lunch card. Guests are asked to call in the morning & let the school know that they will be arriving that day.

Lunch Time Money Please go online www.mymealtime.com to deposit lunch money or send a check in a labeled envelope with student first and last name. Mealtime online passcodes are now the student ID#’s. Parents can find this number on book rental bills, RDS (next to student’s name) or on their schedule. Parents will use this number to set up an ac-count on mealtime online for their student. If they already have an account established, parents do not need to do anything with the existing account. Feel free to change this around or word it any way you like. Bottom line the mealtime passcodes are the student ID#’s.

ALL STUDENTS will receive a HOT LUNCH regardless if they are NEGATIVE. NO CHARGING of any extras will be al-lowed.

Did you bring your lunch, but need a drink? Milk may be purchased, if you brought in a lunch from home, but you may not charge it.

Heating up Lunches Our cafeteria does not warm up food, cook food or wash dishes brought from home. If we tamper with the food it becomes the re-sponsibility of the cafeteria. Please, if you are sending in hot food make sure it is in a thermos.

Substitute in the Cafeteria? If you would like to be a sub in food services please call Pam Maloney at 662-6480. This is a great way to earn a little extra cash and be home with your children in the morning and afternoon.

A Social Fitness Note from our Positive Behavior

Intervention & Support Paraprofessional (PBIS),

Mrs. Derwinski

Tell an adult you trust: Tell your parents or teacher about what is happening. Share all the details, and let them know how you feel. Ask them what you should do next.

Reminder: Everyone should wear a blue shirt on Monday.

A Note from our Physical Education Teacher,

Mrs. Decker

It is important to have strong muscles that can work force-

fully over a period of "me and to be flexible enough to

have a full range of mo"on at the joint. Musculoskeletal

injuries are o(en the result of muscle imbalance at

a specific joint.

A Note from our Art Teacher

Mrs. Hufford Timothy Ball Elementary school is teaming up with Art-sonia, www.artsonia.com--the world's largest online kid's art museum--to display the students' artwork. I’m hard at work

uploading art to the galleries, and you will receive a postcard within the next couple of weeks with information on how to activate your parent account and view and share your child’s artwork. Students are not identified by their full names, and you control whether family members or friends may post comments about your child’s art. You can view the school gallery online at: www.artsonia.com/schools/TimothyBall1. Keep in mind that I am still busy uploading art from my many wonderful students! It may take up to three weeks for your child to have an artwork displayed, but after that I will upload each project they do (and even some of last year’s projects that I have pics of). Visitors can browse the artwork in the school gallery by grade level, or by specific exhibits.

Book Rental Payment is Due

If you signed a book rental payment agreement, your second payment is due by Friday, October 24, 2014. Payments can be made by debit/credit card online through Parent RDS, or by check/cash in the school office.
