Cultural Funding Program Fiscal Year 2017 Timeline
April 6, 2016 Guidelines & Applications available online www.elpasoartsandculture.org
Each applicant will be responsible for printing their own copy of the Cultural
Funding and KickstArt Guidelines by accessing the online grant portal athttp://elpasoarts.cgweb.org
Orientation Sessions Attendance is mandatory for all applicants.

technical assistance will be considered until 12:00 pm.

May 31, 2016 Last Day to Submit Panel Nominations. Online nomination forms can be
located at: www.elpasoartsandculture.org
June 2016 Panel Review Sessions - Dates TBD
July 2016 Program Recommendations
Based on applicant’s scores and availability of funds, recommendations for
awards and declines are forwarded to the Museums and Cultural Affairs
Advisory Board (MCAAB) for review and approval
End of August 2016 City Council approves FY 2017 City Budget
Funding amount determination letter will be sent out to all awardees or
declines after City Council Approval of the Budget for FY 2017 (September
2016 through August 2017)
September 2016 Contracts will be drafted for Fiscal Year 2017
(September 1, 2016 through August 15, 2017)
All contracts must be signed no later than November 15, 2016
