Another teacher to welcome to our Community Programme isJen Cunningham who will be teaching Morning Pilates. PROFESSIONALPROGRAMMEIf seasons at Dance Base had volume control then this one would be turned right up to 11. We had so many applications for our residency programme this summer, bristling with originality, feist and enthusiasm.

Hidden Door Festival have made dance a feature of this year’s festival and we heartily applaudthat by giving free studio space to artists who will grace their dance programme.

During the summer, our fantastic over-60s dancers of PRIME will be popping up all over the place.Look out for some group hugging… I can't tell you too much, but you might just want to be nearthe National Museum around the opening of the Imaginate Festival in May. And to celebrate the European Championships in Glasgow in July and early August, we get our best bathing bloomersout, enlist the youngsters of Lothian Youth Dance Company, and camp out with a big splash. And when I say camp and splash, I really do mean camp and splash!

Don't be a stranger – come and enjoy our free residency showings in your lovely national dancehouse throughout the summer.
