ROTARY: MAKING A DIFFERENCE

2017-18 Year in Review DG Jeff Reed

This has been an exciting, eye-opening year for me as your District Governor. RI President Ian Riseley asked us to Make a Difference this year. And we have. I’ve seen club projects providing service in woods and parks, creating splash pads and stages, creating skate parks, supporting a free dental clinic, enhancing nature centers, supporting schools, providing backpacks for children, and providing meals for the homeless and hungry and more. Fundraisers have featured food and beverages, crafts, auctions, music, and more. I’ve seen projects addressing every one of Rotary’s six areas of Focus. And, I’ve posted numerous pictures of what I’ve seen on Facebook. (I hope that you follow our District on Facebook.) Club leaders and members, thank you for your service projects and your fundraisers. These efforts have helped people and made better communities. Thank you for Making a Difference.
