The 80/20 Rule

Time Management

On the FloorIn Your Office

•You want to spend more than half of your time out on the floor meeting with clients, employees and guests, rather than doing paperwork in your office.

Create Goals

It is helpful to set goals for your self to get things done ahead of time. If a paper is due at the end of the month, tell your self it is done two weeks earlier.

Doing this will help to gain time for things that are “thrown” at you with short notice.

Page 13: Time Management

Post-It’s are your Friends! Leave yourself notes. The mind can only

remember so many little details at once. Write it down to help make sure you get your stuff done.

Post-It’s are helpful because you can color-code certain things to stay organized.
