UNFPA Supplies' budget shortfall was calculated by dividing the funding gap of $45 million from the needed budget of $120 million. The total gap and needed budget come from personal communication with Jennie Greaney, Technical Specialist at UNFPA (May 4, 2016). The countries for this graphic are the FP2020 focus countries located in sub-Saharan Africa that have 2015 data from USAID DELIVER's CS Indicators. All data on government and donor funding for contraceptives is from USAID DELIVER's CS Indicators. Data on govern-ment funding for contraceptives includes some donor funding that passes through the government's budget.
