Sign In
1. Log in to
https://inside.augsburg.edu/
and enter your username and
password.
2. Click “Administrative Tasks” in
the AUGNET SERVICES menu.
3. Click “Time Entry” to open the
Kronos website.

Sign Out
1. Click the icon in the upper
left corner next to the Augsburg
sign.
2. Click the down arrow icon
next to your name initials.
3. Click on the “Sign Out”.

Timesheet
Click on the My Time > Timesheet > Current Timesheet or Click on the My Timesheet widget.

Accrual
Click on the My Accrual Balances widget.

From the “My Accrual Balances” widget,
you can review the Time Off Balances and request the time off.

Request Time Off
Click on the REQUEST and select the time off from the category.

Widgets can be added or removed using the Add menu: Edit Mode > +Add > Widgets .

TIME ENTRY
Time Entry – Hourly Staff and Student Employees
• Click on the “My Timesheet” widget on the Home screen.
• Hourly staff and student employees should record all time worked and time off taken in increments of 15 minutes.
• Please enter hours every day rather than recording time at the end of the pay period.
• .
• Click the drop down menu > Browse• Select the correct position.
• Enter From and To times.
• Check the Raw Total and Calc. Total.
• All staff and student employees who work at least six(6)
hours in a day are expected to take a meal break. Meal
breaks are unpaid and are generally thirty (30) minutes in
length. Kronos calculates Calc. Total by automatically
deducting 30 minutes from Raw Total.
• Payroll is calculated based on Calc. Total.
The deadline of timesheet approval is 12:00 noon on Monday of the payroll week. All timesheet submissions
should be completed before the deadline so that supervisor can timely review and approve them.
When you have taken time off, please
select the correct time off from the drop down menu and enter the hours.

• When you have recorded all the hours, click on the SAVE and SUBMIT in the upper right corner.
*We encourage you to submit the timesheet on Friday of the pay period end unless you work on Saturday.
• If the timesheet needs correction, please request your supervisor to reject the timesheet. Rejected timesheet will be sent
back to you for review and/or edit. The staff and student employee should re-submit the corrected timesheet for approval.

Time Entry – Salaried (Exempt) Staff
• Salaried staff do not record individual work hours, but should document all time off taken on the timesheet.
• Click on the “My Timesheet” widget on the Home screen.
• Salaried staff should record all time off taken in increments of 4 hours.
• .
• Click the drop down menu.
• Select the correct time off from the category and enter the hours.
• If you need to add a different time off, click the ADD ROWS.
TIME ENTRY
The deadline of timesheet approval is 12:00 noon on Monday of the payroll week. All timesheet submissions
should be completed before the deadline so that supervisor can timely review and approve them.
