Vase and flowers 6. Jarvis Bedroom Mess You should find enclosed a picture of each prop with the amount needed, approximate scale and various notes. I have done my best to think of everything but if you need more specific information  just get in touch. Although I have provided you with a picture of the preferable look, you can use some creative license, but don’t make major design changes without consulting me. Through guesswork I have given an approximate scale as a guideline, but if you think that the proportions of a prop are wrong then make marginal alterations. Also don’t worry if your final prop is slightly out by a couple of millimetres, it won’t hurt. I have included a scale drawing of the Jarvis Model and the Nursie Model to help you with the proportions. Take into account that Jarvis is meant to be a small chubby 12-year-old boy, so certain props are going to be slightly big compared him, however his accessories are fitted to his size. Where as the Nursie character is of more of an average size. Ignore the arrows and notes on the design concerning the armature they aren’t relevant. Note the order of priority- start making the 2 most important props first. Remember if you would like me to reimburse you for the more expensive items / materials you’ll need then keep receipts. However, its good to remember that if you do want to be involved/ credited in the film and stop-motion in generally, then you might have to make a little monetary contribution through the purchase of materials and tools. If you need help and advise, are worried about the deadline or your finding it too difficult etc call me and let me know! My mobile number is 07930644407. Deadline: 7 th March I’ll be organising a meeting in about a week’s time to see how you are doing. Thank you so much for being involved, I really couldn’t do it without your help. JUST DO YOUR BEST. GOOD LUCK! Sarah xx

Cassette Walkman

Amount: 1

Scale: 1.5cm x 1cm x 0.3cm

Notes:

• Must have buttons• The scale of the walkman is similar to

that of the small picture to the left.• Use the picture as a colour guideline.• Use a hard material- don’t make out of

cardboard.

Headphones

Amount: 1

Scale: ??? Use Jarvis scale model

Notes:

• Try to make the headphones slightlyflexible- because Jarvis will need to putthem onto his head. Use wire then cover

in foam maybe?• Must have black wire coming out of it

and attached to the walkman.

Scale: ??? Use Jarvis scale model- approx 5 cmheight?

Notes:

• Be creative and inventive. Use a varietyof materials, paper, clay etc

• Variety of coloured flowers.

Balloons

Amount: 3-4

Scale: The picture above is about the correct size, but

check and compare to the character scale drawings.

Notes:

• Do your best- experiment with real balloons or paper mache- anything you can think of.

• The strings are going to have to be made from stiff wire so they can stand up and be moved around.

• If you can manage a “Get Well Soon” balloon gofor it but otherwise stick to the normal balloon.

Jarvis’BedroomMessNow it is up to you what you make to contribute to Jarvis’s bedroom mess. I have provided a list of things I can think of, but as messy students if you can think of anything else to contribute then go for it!

Use the Nursie Scale drawing (a character of an average height) and the Jarvis Scale drawing to figureout the sizes of these props, although don’t worry too much about accuracy, just do your best.

Be creative. Make out of anything and everything!
