Race 1

1. DIOISE DEL PHEDO - In excellent shape since returning to racing without hind shoes. Surprisingly below-par last time but can make amends and get back in the game

2. DARLING STONE - On a decent run in recent weeks. Finished fourth to (18) DWENDOLINA BILOU at Caen and should not be ignored

3. DOLLY DE LUXE - Sprang a surprise to win at La Ferte-Vidame last month but failed to confirm next time when 25m worse off. Breaks in front on this occasion but still not easy to back

4. DIANA DE MONTI - Moderate trotter making her first appearance on the inner track but no chance of shedding her maiden status

5. DOLLY SI - Tends to acquit herself respectably when applied. Trotted third to (1) DIOISE DEL PHEDO at Graignes early September but is 25m better off this time. Minor place chance

6. DIVA DE CHAMBRAY - Just one win in 41 starts but useful on a good day. Makes Paris debut with a lot to find though

7. DIANA DES PINS - Unexceptional sort that has been completely out of the

picture in last five and can be ruled out

8. DEESSE DIGEO - Has a good entry on the first row but has never made her mark here and in present condition is not an attractive proposition

9. DYNASTIE GRAMMONT - Mare with a superb strike rate. Won four of her last six and even though yet to confirm at Vincennes still looks the leading contender

10. DOLLY DU QUESNE - Useful type that is rarely far off the mark. Trotted fifth over track and trip a fortnight back but still no more than a minor place chance

11. DASKA DE L'OCEAN - Very hard to fault when applied. Won a similar event at Laval ten days ago and even though on the second line this time can still get in on the action

12. DARQUANA DU NORD - Has shown a different side to herself since returning this spring. Boasts a good record under these conditions and in current form will garner considerable support

13. DIVINE D'ECROVILLE - Not the most reliable but trotted third to (18) DWENDOLINA BILOU at Caen recently and in similar form can get a look in

14. DIVINE DI LEONE - Hardy sort that seldom lets the side down. Impressive in last two and even though shod can still play a role

15. DIVA DU GRANIT - Delicate soul but has ample ability. Sanctioned in three of last four but with application can go far

16. DANIKA DE COURT - Won at Reims three months ago but has failed to confirm four times since and will need to reassure

17. DORIE DE SAUZETTE - Seldom wins but always gives her best. Won her only start over course and distance and given recent form can make a big splash

18. DWENDOLINA BILOU - Quality mare with good references in both codes. Won last week in good order at Caen and returns to Paris with legitimate ambition

Summary

Behind in earnings compared to her contemporaries (9) DYNASTIE GRAMMONT is a classy individual whose latest form is nothing short of impressive. She makes her first appearance on the inner track here but should still have the measure of the in-form (17) DORIE DE SAUZETTE who looks close to opening her seasonal account. (15) DIVA DU GRANIT has been struggling with stride problems lately but when applied is significantly better than most here. (11) DASKA DE L'OCEAN has been firing on all cylinders this summer and while unlikely to repeat her Laval success will not be far off the mark. Eric Raffin is reunited with (18) DWENDOLINA BILOU who can make her presence felt if still in the same form she showed at Caen last week.

Selections

(9) DYNASTIE GRAMMONT - (17) DORIE DE SAUZETTE - (15) DIVA DU GRANIT - (11) DASKA DE L'OCEAN - (18) DWENDOLINA BILOU

Race 2

1. CALIU DES BOSC - Hardy trotter that always gives his best. Left a good impression at Amiens recently and from the front line can give this a good go

2. A LOUIS DIDJEAP - Handy sort on a good day but well beaten by (18) CHARLY DE L'AUNAY at Rambouillet last time and not a contender

3. CELEBRE RAUDIERE - Got back in the game with a good Caen victory last week. Never closer than fifth under these conditions but will nonetheless generate interest

4. BOTTICELLI DELO - Can prove a handful but currently in good shape. Goes well when barefoot and can make his presence felt

5. CRACK DE PEBRISY - Started the year decently but has since lost his way and appears to have his work cut out

6. CYCLOPE D'OSTAL - Winner of his only start over track and trip under harness. Has Raffin in the wagon this time and will garner significant support

7. ALIXAN - Useful trotter but not the most reliable. Abrivard in the sulky this time and worth watching

8. BOSS D'OURVILLE - Moderate type that tends to go better right-handed but gets on well with Gelormini and should not be ruled out

9. BE CASH MONEY - On a decent run in the provinces since early August but placed just once in ten at Vincennes. Is well positioned on the front line though and worth a second look

10. BONEFISH LIFE - A model of consistency this year. Beat his personal best at La Capelle last time and with hind shoes off again can play a leading role

11. CLICHE MESLOIS - Regularly displays a lack of discipline but won two of last three. Belloche stable going well and with application can go far

12. AZAN D'AZIF - Reinvigorated since late spring. On the second line this time and will not be able to lead as he likes. Others preferred

13. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Blows hot and cold but is proven at this level. Finished third in a similar Vichy event last weekend but incurs the penalty and will need to be at his best

14. BUZZ SLY - Useful sort that has made progress of late but in better company this time and a minor place chance at best

15. BRANDEIS JET - Can prove indisciplined but has won three of his last four. Has done nothing here since 2015 but one to note all the same

16. ARGOL - Quality mare that has three races in him following a long absence. Should be fully fit and expected to show marked improvement

17. BEST MATCH - Very hard to knock when racing barefoot. Yet to produce the goods at Vincennes but in current form can change all that

18. CHARLY DE L'AUNAY - Tremendous servant that has hardly set a foot wrong this season. Flew up on turf last time and with front shoes off on this occasion looks a major player

Summary

(11) CLICHE MESLOIS may be a delicate sort but he seldom disappoints when applied and given current form and his place on the front line will be hard to oppose. He will not have it all his own way though considering how well he has been performing in recent months and being reined by Franck Nivard will do his chances no disservice. Already a winner under these conditions the in-form (6) CYCLOPE D'OSTAL has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion and should play an important role. (18) CHARLY DE L'AUNAY has been in cracking form this season and even though on the second line still has a good hand to play. (8) BOSS D'OURVILLE is another for the shortlist.

Selections

(11) CLICHE MESLOIS - (10) BONEFISH LIFE - (6) CYCLOPE D'OSTAL - (18) CHARLY DE L'AUNAY - (8) BOSS D'OURVILLE - (17) BEST MATCH - (13)

CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - (9) BE CASH MONEY

Race 3

1. GAYA DU VARLET - Looked very ordinary on debut here mid-month and no chance

2. GALIKOVA DE JOMAX - Sanctioned in five of six to date and can expect to have few friends

3. GOULETTE STEED - Rather disappointing to date and at this level has no realistic chance

4. GAIA OLMENHOF - Pleased on debut before finishing 5th to (9) GREEN GRASS next time and can go closer on this occasion

5. GOLDIE DU CHOQUEL - Has looked a decent trotter so far. Came in a place behind (7) GEORGIA DE REMILLY last time but will need to be at her best on this occasion

6. GEE - Delicate but is no slouch. Ran second in a Class C under similar conditions last week but no more than minor place chance this time

7. GEORGIA DE REMILLY - In the frame in two of three and latterly in a Class B over track and trip. In better company but can still make the first five

8. GALILEA MONEY - Quality individual that ran (9) GREEN GRASS close here last time. Is a progressive filly and can again apply the pressure

9. GREEN GRASS - Won with considerable class here on just second start. Has had time to freshen up and can double her money

10. GRAINE DE CRACK - Serious sort that has won her last two. Is confirmed under these conditions and looks a serious player once more

Summary

Sanctioned on debut early August (9) GREEN GRASS then won impressively on the outer course next time and can confirm. She was however run close that day by Jean-Michel Bazire's (8) GALILEA MONEY who is not incapable of turning the tables. Winner of her last two - including over course and distance - (10) GRAINE DE CRACK is a filly for the future and the three-timer is not beyond her reach. After a solid debut (4) GAIA OLMENHOF was by no means disgraced behind the selection here late last month and will have her supporters.

Selections

(9) GREEN GRASS - (8) GALILEA MONEY - (10) GRAINE DE CRACK - (4) GAIA OLMENHOF

Race 4

1. ERIS DE FREDLAU - Excellent servant in the other code. Has other priorities and no threat

2. ENCHILADA FACE - Occasionally indisciplined but otherwise on a productive run. Clinched a Class C on the outer track last time but a minor place chance at best on this occasion

3. EAST ISLAND - Respectable sort that pleased twice under these conditions during the winter. Well beaten by (8) ETOILE DES YEDRAG last time though and others preferred

4. ENSKA - Hardy filly that caught the eye in a tough Gr.2 here four weeks ago. Comes here fresh and with shoes off again can challenge for a place on the podium

5. ELOISE DES CHARMES - A model of consistency and confirmed at this level. Drops down the class ladder after a failed attempt in a Gr.2 and will be one to note

6. EXTRA LIGHT - Not always the most dependable but flew up at Cherbourg last time. Steps up in class but can still make the frame

7. ECUME DES LOUANGES - Modest individual that seldom makes her presence felt and is not about to change her ways

8. ETOILE DES YEDRAG - Has flourished since returning to competition. Imposed in good order here eight days ago and will take some beating

9. EUREKA DU FOSSE - Won over course and distance during the spring. Has not been as sharp since and with shoes on is unlikely to shake things up

10. ENORA DE PIENCOURT - Sanctioned on her only appearance on the inner track but is a quality element. Is clearly in form and could prove something of a spoiler

11. ELECTRA JET - Delicate but has significant ability. Lost her action on Tuesday but should still be fresh and with application can play a major role

Summary

Since returning from her spring break (8) ETOILE DES YEDRAG has done nothing but improve and should logically pull off the hat-trick. The talented (11) ELECTRA JET lost her action in the UET on Tuesday and backs up with every chance of getting in on the action - provided she can keep her action together. (6) EXTRA LIGHT imposed unchallenged at Cherbourg recently and with Thomain back in the sulky looks a serious player once more. (4) ENSKA gave an excellent account in the Gr.2 Prix Guy le Gonidec earlier in the month and with shoes off again will have her chances.

Selections

(8) ETOILE DES YEDRAG - (11) ELECTRA JET - (6) EXTRA LIGHT - (4) ENSKA

Race 5

1. ENCANTO - 23 races and not a win to his name. Switches codes for the first time and not a realistic proposition

2. ELITLOVE PASMARICK - Got back in the game here two weeks ago but on this occasion will have too much to do

3. ELIXIR DU PARC - Moderate sort that finished second to (9) ET MAINTENANT here a fortnight ago. Steps up in class and no chance of losing his maiden tag

4. ELINKINE - Opened his ridden account earlier this month but has no love for Vincennes and can be passed over

5. ERO DE BEAULIEU - Pleased more than once during the spring but disappointing of late and must raise his game

6. EMIR DE L'ESQUE - Previously a good sort but off the boil for past 16 months and can be ruled out

7. ESPRIT DIVIN - Showed marked improvement on the outer course over longer late last month. Confirmed form next time under harness and should not be overlooked

8. ENABLE DREAM - Has ability but very erratic. Trounced in the Ceneri Forcinal and has no realistic chance

9. ET MAINTENANT - Opened his account in good order over track and trip two weeks ago and if in similar form should have a good hand to play

10. ESPOIR DE L'ETRE - Left a very good impression over course and distance on lone start under the saddle. Abrivard gets the nod again and looks a player

11. ELDER SHADOW - Useful colt that is regularly in the thick of things at this level. Is confirmed over course and distance and must be afforded respect

12. EMIR DE REBOMARD - Not the most reliable but went into his spell on a high note. Unraced for over two months but is unshod all four and can play an important role

13. EKEREN - Delicate but quality element that recently trotter 4th in the Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal on the outer course and looks the pick of the bunch this time

Summary

An excellent campaigner in both codes - despite some indiscipline - (13) EKEREN recently trotted fourth against the best of his generation and if applied should have the measure of the field. (10) ESPOIR DE L'ETRE missed out by little on his ridden debut over course and distance and with Abrivard back in the saddle will be given every chance. (12) EMIR DE REBOMARD has not been

seen out since winning smartly at Enghien late July but is barefoot for the occasion and should again finish in the frame. (11) ELDER SHADOW has shown marked improvement lately and can also get in on the action.

Selections

(13) EKEREN - (10) ESPOIR DE L'ETRE - (12) EMIR DE REBOMARD - (11) ELDER SHADOW

Race 6

1. FLASH DANGUEVILLE - Has yet to show any particular aptitude for the game and can be confidently disregarded

2. FLY SOTHO - Has begun to show improvement lately but in this class of race will struggle to make his mark

3. FIREFOX DU KLAU - Excellent campaigner that has never disappointed. Is fresh from a spell but should still be good enough to win a race of this nature on his first start back

4. FRIPON DES SABLES - Has just one blip on his formsheet in last three months. Raffin takes over the reins and looks dangerous

5. FILOU DES VALLEES - Somewhat erratic but makes Vincennes debut on the back of a decent provincial win. Goes left-handed this time but still one to note

6. FORBAN - Back at his best following a relatively dry patch and appears eminently capable of challenging for a place in the frame

7. FAKIM DE GUERON - Sprang a surprise when beating (9) FIGARO PLANCHETTE over shorter here ten days ago but a repeat looks decidedly unlikely

8. FRIMEUR DU CAIEU - Still a maiden but has considerable ability. Unraced since finishing second in a good Enghien event six weeks ago but Nivard has maintained faith and must be respected

9. FIGARO PLANCHETTE - Yet to get his nose in front but useful when applied. Currently in shape and could pick up some stake money

10. FAST BONNEVENT - Not without merit but sanctioned more often than not and will appeal to few

Summary

Solid as a rock since his May debut (3) FIREFOX DU KLAU may be returning from a brief spell but he has the best credentials here and should be able to get straight back down to business. Dollion will nevertheless need to keep a watchful eye on the consistently productive (4) FRIPON DES SABLES who has been entrusted to Raffin for the occasion. (8) FRIMEUR DU CAIEU has had time to freshen up since his solid Enghien performance last month and should also figure prominently. (6) FORBAN appears to be back at his best and will not be far off the mark.

Selections

(3) FIREFOX DU KLAU - (4) FRIPON DES SABLES - (8) FRIMEUR DU CAIEU - (6) FORBAN

Race 7

1. FARCEUR DU SURF - Disappointing in both harness starts to date. Takes his chances in the ridden code but still not an obvious choice

2. FLASH QUICK - Clearly capable but has struggled with stride issues. Top jockey on board here and can start to make amends

3. FAKIR DES BORDES - Yet to show any particular aptitude for either discipline and will have few friends

4. FAKIR D'ARCY - Unremarkable type that has just once made any impact in either code and can be ruled out

5. FANFAN DOUZOU - Not the easiest to handle but flew up at Alencon earlier in the month and with application can again play an important role

6. FEELING D'ECAJEUL - Left a good impression on debut over course and distance late March but completely off the boil since and no threat

7. FLY TO YOUR DREAMS - Modest colt that switches codes after a disappointing streak under harness and not a priority

8. FAN DE PHYT'S - Made an excellent debut at Enghien mid-August. Comes here fresh and should be good enough to win this

9. FOOT DES GLENAN - Has made decent progress lately. Gave a good account on the long course here last week and can again get in on the action

10. FLEURON DE JAFA - Consistently gives everything he has but will need to do more than he did in the race of reference

11. FERMO - Showed promise during the spring. Just second start since the break though and unlikely to shake things up

12. FAKIR DES MANIS - Moderate sort that won at Cabourg late August but a beaten fourth behind (13) FAST DES ANGLES next time and will need to raise his game

13. FAST DES ANGLES - Has shown very good aptitude to date. Decent third over longer here earlier in the month but no more than a minor place chance

Summary

After a convincingly solid performance at Enghien on debut last month the well-bred (8) FAN DE PHYT'S looks eminently capable of opening her account here. She can however expect to feel some pressure from the delicate but talented (5) FANFAN DOUZOU who got off the mark in style at Alencon early September. The complicated (2) FLASH QUICK has undeniable ability and with Yoann Lebourgeois in the saddle can begin to make good on his promise. (9) FOOT DES GLENAN sprang something of a surprise on the long course here recently

and in similar form can again make his presence felt.

Selections

(8) FAN DE PHYT'S - (5) FANFAN DOUZOU - (2) FLASH QUICK - (9) FOOT DES GLENAN

Race 1

1. SUPER SAGE - Has demonstrated ability in this discipline last year. Off since end of December

2. EL PASO WOOD - Made promising debut in this code at Dax twelve days ago. Has obvious claims

3. POUDREUR - Never a factor on hurdle debut at the venue on 10 September. Things can only get better

4. OPERATOR - Won twice on the flat - on fibresand - in nineteen outings. Hurdle debut today

5. ANZORIE - Runner-up in an identical race on 10 September. Posted a respectable effort on that occasion and should confirm

6. SIB VALENTINE - Beaten a long way on hurdle debut in a claimer last June. Has a lot to find

Summary

(2) EL PASO WOOD made a good start to his hurdling career at Dax twelve days ago and is the most appealing option in this line-up. (5) ANZORIE showed significant progress in her last outing at the venue and looks the biggest danger to the selection. (1) SUPER SAGE has shown some positive signs last year and can feature if ready.

Selections

(2) EL PASO WOOD - (5) ANZORIE - (1) SUPER SAGE - (3) POUDREUR

Race 2

1. DORELKO DES OBEAUX - Pleased in recent efforts over fences. Switches back to hurdling with claims

2. WHITE CRYSTAL - Finished first and second in two starts over hurdles last year. Has struggled on the flat this term

3. FORMENTOR - Dual winner from 48 on the flat. First time over hurdles today. Watch betting for clues

4. DALYSON DE FANGEY - Has not run since March last year. No better than fourth in four starts over hurdles

5. WANDA LAW - Unraced mare aged five who makes her debut for trainer Stephane Eveno. Unlikely threat

Summary

This is a very modest event in which (1) DORELKO DES OBEAUX looks hard to oppose. He comes in on the back of a pair of solid efforts over the fences and will have no problem to switch back to hurdling. (2) WHITE CRYSTAL had done very well in this discipline last year and can pop-up. A first-time starter over jumps (3) FORMENTOR is worth some consideration.

Selections

(1) DORELKO DES OBEAUX - (2) WHITE CRYSTAL - (3) FORMENTOR - (4) DALYSON DE FANGEY

Race 3

1. EVASIVE NIGHT - Off the mark on fourth attempt at the venue on 10 September. Beat (4) CAPITOLE by a neck on that occasion

2. PRINCE HAMLET - Trounced the field when off the mark at Le Croise-Laroche three weeks ago. Leading chance

3. TALK OR LISTEN - Was not disgraced when third in an identical race at the venue on first run for new connections. Has claims

4. CAPITOLE - Much improved last start when a close second to (1) EVASIVE NIGHT here over a mile. Extra-distance will suit

5. GLORINA - Soundly beaten first time out at the venue in a maiden. Improvement needed

Summary

(2) PRINCE HAMLET scored impressively when off the mark on his second outing at Le Croise-Laroche and in similar form, he should have no problem wrapping this one up too. It is worth noting that he is the only ride of the day of Arc de Triomphe winning-jockey Stephane Pasquier. (4) CAPITOLE burst up late when a close second to (1) EVASIVE NIGHT at the venue last time out and can reverse form with his rival.

Selections

(2) PRINCE HAMLET - (4) CAPITOLE - (1) EVASIVE NIGHT - (3) TALK OR LISTEN

Race 4

1. VALENTINO'S DAY - Three time winner from fifteen. Tries the trip and looks interesting with a six pounds allowance added

2. HELVETE -

3. DANCE COLONY - Beaten 3/4 lengths when runner-up in an identical race over track & trip last time. Can go one better

4. KARLITE - Off the mark on second start last July at La Teste. Form of that race has since worked out well

5. ALL THIS TIME - Finished three lengths behind (3) DANCE COLONY over course & distance last time. Three pounds better off today

6. PRINCESS GOLD - A close second in a class 2 at the venue last time out and looks an obvious player

7. ALIWALIA - Has shown little of significance in three career starts so far and is best overlooked

Summary

Both (6) PRINCESS GOLD and (3) DANCE COLONY come in on the back of solid performances at the venue. A slight preference is given to Francois Rohaut's charge who is three pounds better off than her rival. (1) VALENTINO'S DAY has done very well for his new connections and must have a chance in a race like this. (4) KARLITE has plenty of progress to offer and cannot be neglected.

Selections

(6) PRINCESS GOLD - (3) DANCE COLONY - (1) VALENTINO'S DAY - (4) KARLITE

Race 5

1. BO PAPA - Won back-to-back Quinte+ handicaps at Saint-Cloud in March. Eight pounds allowance is a big plus here

2. SKATERS WALTZ - Very effective in the claiming division. Steps up in grade but remains one for the shortlist

3. SA TUNA - Won a Quinte race at Lyon last May. Is distance-suited and must be worth some consideration

4. KENFAY - Useful in the handicap division. Won over course & distance last time and has to be respected

5. BROADWAY BOOGIE - Holding form and is distance suited. Could pop up in the places once again

6. MYSTERIEUX - Had a good start to the year before flopping in a Quinte at the end of June. Has not run since then

7. JUST A FORMALITY - Went through a purple patch early in the season but recent efforts do little to inspire confidence

8. BLACK NIGHT - Five time winner from thirty two but blew out on last few outings and needs to do better

9. VENERABLE - Three time winner from thirty. Ran below-par in last two and needs to reaffirm at present

Summary

(1) BO PAPA has enjoyed a fruitful 2018 season so far. He won over this course and distance last year and is sure to give this a good account with an eight pounds allowance added. (3) SA TUNA has also posted some solid efforts this season and must be shortlisted. Stablemate to the selection the on-form (4) KENFAY can pick up a cheque.

Selections

(1) BO PAPA - (3) SA TUNA - (4) KENFAY - (5) BROADWAY BOOGIE

Race 6

1. RANNAN - Has been holding form well all season and is proven this distance. Big shout

2. TIBERIAS - Off the mark on sixth attempt at Royan last time. On a workable mark and not without a chance

3. DAY HOPE - Soundly beaten on handicap bow at Vichy last July but subsequently went off the mark at Hyeres. Respected

4. KENOHOPE - Effective off this mark and this distance. Ran a good race over course & distance on penultimate start. Player

5. PEDRO DEL RIO - Down the field on both handicap starts so far and has too much to find

6. CARPE VICTORIA - Has improved nicely all summer and went off the mark at Salon in last start. Has a six pounds penalty to defy

7. MEDITIA - Not without ability but obvious lack of consistency and others make more appeal

8. VIDA LOCA - Recent efforts in claimers leave a lot to be desired. On a workable mark though

9. FIRST AND LAST - Still to place after nine outings and makes little or no appeal whatsoever

Summary

(1) RANNAN has been particularly effective in this division all season and has run well on both his starts over this distance. He gets the vote ahead of impressive last-start winner (6) CARPE VICTORIA who has been upped six pounds in the weights. (4) KENOHOPE does not know how to run a bad race and must be shortlisted. (2) TIBERIAS can be in the mix.

Selections

(1) RANNAN - (6) CARPE VICTORIA - (4) KENOHOPE - (2) TIBERIAS

Race 7

1. THOUSAND OAKS - Has been in very good form all year winning six and runner up thrice in her last nine. Player

2. VALOMBREUSE - Looked promising last year but not up to the task this season. First time in a handicap

3. SENOVILLE - Placed off higher mark but remains unreliable and others make more appeal

4. ENJOY BILBERRY - Off the mark in a claimer two starts back. Second run for new yard. Soundly beaten on both handicap starts

5. CHANTE BLU - Flopped at the venue over a mile last start. May be held by handicapper at present. Not a priority

6. ULTIM'REVE - Off the mark on fibresand on eighth attempt. Upped six pounds and chances appear limited

7. JESSY LOVE - Has battled a bit since winning in January but on a workable mark at present and can pick up a cheque

8. CELLO SOLO - Modest form so far and needs major improvement to win this race. Others preferred

Summary

Although she has a lot of weight to carry, the ultra-consistent (1) THOUSAND OAKS is a good starting point and gets a tentative vote to register another victory. (2) VALOMBREUSE has form at upper grade and looks interesting on her first run in this division. (6) ULTIM'REVE and (7) JESSY LOVE are on the rise and can also make their presence felt.

Selections

(1) THOUSAND OAKS - (2) VALOMBREUSE - (6) ULTIM'REVE - (7) JESSY LOVE

Race 8

1. ARTPLACE - Last run too bad to be true. Expected to bounce back although does not have much room for maneuver off this mark

2. L'OPTIMISTE - Has enjoyed a good run of form since mid-June. On a career high and worth a look in

3. RELAXED BOY - Effective in the handicap division last year but has not been in the same form this term. Others preferred

4. SILK OF RIO - Competitive off this mark and this trip. Blinkers back on and must be respected

5. LE RING - Won two on the trot last June but appears to be held by handicapper at present

6. PIERRE PRECIEUSE - Won over one mile at the venue last May but current mark leaves little room for maneuver

7. IMAGINATION DOREE - Has featured off higher mark last year. Tries the trip and a likely improver after re-entry run

8. BERET - Will have limited aspirations off this mark. Has it all to prove this distance

9. ICALO - Showed ability in 2016 but has not been as good when returning in 2018. Could place though

10. LOUISDARGENT - Effective in this division and distance last year. Never a factor in four starts this term

11. RED SERENADE - Registered a fourth career win at Parilly back in May but has flopped thrice since then

12. MIRASOL - Has been battling recently but has featured off higher mark last year and can spring a surprise

Summary

(2) L'OPTIMISTE has been in excellent form since last June. He finished second in an identical race on his sole start over course and distance three months ago and looks the pick. With blinkers back on today, (4) SILK OF RIO will enjoy the drop in distance and can make his presence felt. (1) ARTPLACE and (7) IMAGINATION DOREE enter the equation.

Race 1

1. SEBECOURT - Unplaced on both starts to date but has shown promise and could be of interest

2. GILOU CAT - Placed in the middle of his three runs but may be better in handicaps later on

3. GREAT - Finished tenth on debut at Nantes but there will be more needed here today

4. DREAM WORD - Came in third on debut at Evreux and will be well in the mix here today

5. ABORIGENE - Unplaced on both outings so far and will do well to get involved in this

6. REAL MASTER - Placed fourth in two of his three starts but might find this a bit too strong

7. SUMMER WIND - Finished ninth on debut at Pornichet but that form will not suffice today

8. SHANDROS - Beaten a long way on debut at ParisLongchamp and will have to do so much better

9. MIRANDO - Placed in all three runs and will surely be competitive once again now

10. NORWEGIAN KING - A newcomer by Kendargent ex Norwegian Lady and there is promise in that pedigree

11. RED SPOT - A newcomer by smart sire Mastercraftsman and maybe one to watch for the future

Summary

This opening maiden for two year old colts and geldings could well be taken by (4) DREAM WORD who showed plenty of promise for the immediate future when beaten half a length into third on debut at Evreux last month and in doing so was

just ahead of today's rivals. He should come on for that. (1) SEBECOURT is less obvious but also of interest. (9) MIRANDO and (10) NORWEGIAN KING can go well too.

Selections

(4) DREAM WORD - (1) SEBECOURT - (9) MIRANDO - (10) NORWEGIAN KING

4. SAKURA ZENSEN - Third on debut at Saint Cloud and two decent efforts since. Outsider material

5. DANKA - Runner up on debut at La Teste-de-Buch and there will be more to come here perhaps

6. LA VENTROUZE - Dam was a dual winner and Listed placed and both here produce have been successful so far

7. STARSTRUCK - Dam was unplaced maiden and first foal has yet to score so left out of calculations

8. EX NIHILO NIHILFIT - Mother was a winner in Hungary but this is her first foal and will be best watched

9. SUMMER BILBERRY - Dam was unraced but has produced the ultra smart Summerland already and must be looked at

10. ECHOES IN RAIN - Mother was a very good jumper and this will be her first foal so best watched with future in mind

Summary

A maiden race for the two year old fillies this time and perhaps (1) GALLIA D'EMRA might come out on top following an improved effort on third outing when runner up at Le Croise-Laroche earlier this month. She is steadily getting better with each start. (5) DANKA went well on debut and will be winning soon. (6) LA VENTROUZE and (7) STARSTRUCK can hit the frame.

Selections

(1) GALLIA D'EMRA - (5) DANKA - (6) LA VENTROUZE - (7) STARSTRUCK

Race 3

1. DA LAT - One win from thirteen and generally consistent up to latest effort so best forgive that

2. IRISH STORM - A dual winner from seventeen and can be normally relied upon to run a good race

3. EAU DU LARGE - Remains a maiden after twenty one runs and surely not one to be considered here either

4. CORVILLE - Has been placed a few times in fourteen runs and form regressing if anything now

5. OKMAN DES MOTTES - Very little form in ten outings and surely one to be left out of calculations once more

6. WISHFUL THINKING - A dual winner from twenty nine runs and arrives here in grand form for this attempt

7. VISION REBELLE - Off the mark on the last of her thirteen runs which came at Cholet so all things possible now

8. SUR MA VIE - Just the four runs which all came this season and won on debut. Unexposed still

9. BE FREE - One win from twenty six but has placed on several other occasions. Might run well

10. LONGROY - Still a maiden after eighteen runs but has gone close in the past and might do it some day

11. MONSIEUR BANDIDO - Just the one outing from twenty one and perhaps one to miss out on here

Summary

This first handicap of the day looks booked for (6) WISHFUL THINKING who comes into this on the back of two lovely efforts which were a second at Maisons-Laffitte last time which was preceded by a victory at Clairefontaine-Deauville. That form looks rock solid. (1) DA LAT can bounce back from last time to run well. (2) IRISH STORM and (9) BE FREE might place.

Selections

(6) WISHFUL THINKING - (1) DA LAT - (2) IRISH STORM - (9) BE FREE

Race 4

1. MISS CHARLOTTE - Four time victor from thirty three and runner up in two from last three

2. EVALYA SENORA - Still a maiden after twenty two runs and should at least run well here or run out of excuses

3. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS - Better run last time but just the one success from nineteen and slipping down the ratings

4. KAZAK D'AUMONE - Placed just the once in a dozen outings and one to be avoided now it seems

5. LA PLAYA - Remains a maiden after twenty nine outings and starting to become frustrating

6. SUNDERIA - Still winless after twenty two and seemingly going backwards if anything

7. DISCO FLASH - Thrice a winner from forty two but struggling for form right now and not fancied

8. SILVER POKER - Only one win from thirty nine and hopelessly out of sorts at the moment

9. QUENTOR - Unplaced on all eight starts and very easy to look elsewhere again today

10. CROCY - Has finished third in three of his seen outings and will do well to achieve that status here

11. BITTERSWEAT - Runner up on the last of her thirteen runs which came in a minor event but at least that was better

Summary

To be absolutely fair to the connections of all of these horses, it is very difficult to be in any way enthusiastic about the quality that is on offer. However that will not stop someone from winning so punters may latch on to (3) MIDNIGHT EXPRESS in the hope that this one can build on a promising run last time. (1) MISS CHARLOTTE and (2) EVALYA SENORA might stay going long enough to place in front of (5) LA PLAYA.

Selections

(3) MIDNIGHT EXPRESS - (1) MISS CHARLOTTE - (2) EVALYA SENORA - (5) LA PLAYA

Race 5

1. BABY JANE - Remains a maiden after twenty two and bravery needed to back here today

2. CHEF OUI CHEF - Seven time winner from ninety seven and will always give of it's best

3. FIRST MENANTIE - Fair strike rate with eights wins from fifty six but difficult to predict at times

4. MINIKING - Four time winner from twenty five including two of last four so can go well

5. ACHILLE DES AIGLES - One win from twenty one but one feels there is a good run awaiting here

6. VITAL ENERGY - Placed in six of his eleven runs and could well rock up here to break duck

7. GLICOURT - Four time winner from thirty seven but struggling somewhat for form and avoided

8. SIRMA TRAOU LAND - Half a dozen wins from forty five and could go well at some sort of price

9. DUB STEPS - Just the one success from thirty one and needs to find something from somewhere

10. ANKORUNE - Only one win from eighteen. Out of form and cannot be fancied for this

11. CRUEL SUMMER - Half a dozen victories from sixty. Fourth on last two occasions so might get close

12. COLOR CODE - Half a dozen wins from over one hundred starts and not to be discounted lightly

13. STARK DANON - Six wins from sixty eight and a better third at Le Croise-Laroche last time on second run of season

Summary

This looks a grand opportunity for (6) VITAL ENERGY to break his maiden status on his twelfth start and he rates a fair bet against some mediocre opposition. He has signalled his intentions more than once before but can get it spot on today. (11) CRUEL SUMMER must have a bit of a say. (5) ACHILLE DES AIGLES and (2) CHEF OUI CHEF have frame claims also.

Selections

(6) VITAL ENERGY - (11) CRUEL SUMMER - (5) ACHILLE DES AIGLES - (2) CHEF OUI CHEF

Race 6

1. AD LIMINA - One claiming win from a total of ten starts and came fourth last time out

2. DAVANTI SAN GUIDO - Still a maiden after ten and poor on all three starts this season so all to prove

3. MACFLY D'YCY - One win from five runs and must do better than last outing though to have any hope

4. MR SNOWMAN - Well beaten thirteenth on debut at Saint-Cloud and must do a whole lot better

5. THAT'S THE WONDER - Unplaced on all four claiming runs and surely a complete outsider again

6. ROUTE DES AIGLES - Unplaced on all five runs and will need to show substantial improvement

7. QATAR EVER - Won on debut last year and not disgraced in six subsequent outings since then

8. GAME NIGHT - Improved effort on fifth start at La Roche-sur-Yon when runner up last time

9. ATACAMA GIANT - Unplaced on both outings and very difficult to build a strong case for here either

10. SICAIRE - Unplaced on all three outings and record getting worse if anything overall

11. AVA NAGUILA - Disqualified on her debut at Le Touquet and basically best left alone here

12. MAJOR'SALSA - Still a maiden after eight runs but has shown promise and is counted in here for sure

Summary

The one down at the very bottom of the card is the one to be on here and with some confidence in a claiming event that is very winnable. (12) MAJOR'SALSA looks clear on form following a run of good placed efforts lately and should justify favouritism. (7) QATAR EVER and (1) AD LIMINA will also attract support and they can come home in front of (8) GAME NIGHT.

Selections

(12) MAJOR'SALSA - (7) QATAR EVER - (1) AD LIMINA - (8) GAME NIGHT

Race 7

1. FIFTY BALL - Finished fourth on first two runs and despite a seventh last time is still regarded here

2. FRANC BON - Came in fifth on debut and then a much better runner up at Chateaubriant next time

3. FUNKY TOWN - Third on debut at Moulins and then only eighth at Fontainebleau but that was a hot contest

4. FEE DES CHAMPS - Fourth on debut at Sable-sur-Sarthe but must come on from that experience

5. FIX SUN - Mother was a dual winner but only foal to race has not followed suit. Best watched

6. FORCEUR DE VIF - Dam won twice and two of her three foals to race have also been successful

7. FRIPONNE DE BELAIR - Dam was a maiden but one of her two foals has gone on to success. Maybe one for the future rather than today

8. FLAKZANE - Dam was unraced and this is her first produce to hit the track so a watching brief advised

9. FADYSIE - Mother won four times and one of her five foals has also got off the mark

Summary

This flat race for jumping three year old's hardly possesses any future stars for the future judged on those that have already run and on the pedigree of the newcomers. That said, (2) FRANC BON is worth a bet after at least showing improved form for debut when finishing runner up at Chateaubriant last time and should go one better today. (1) FIFTY BALL and (3) FUNKY TOWN should have more to offer. (6) FORCEUR DE VIF may be the best of the first time starters.

Selections

(2) FRANC BON - (1) FIFTY BALL - (3) FUNKY TOWN - (6) FORCEUR DE VIF

Race 8

1. ESPOIR D'ALLIER - Four time winner from thirteen including three of last four and could hardly be in better form

2. ESPOIR DE GAGNER - Placed in five of his eight runs and could well do so again today against strong opponents

3. EASTER BOY - Hit the frame in five of his eight outings and will do well to achieve that here

4. ELFIR DES HAIES - Off the mark on the last of his four runs which came at Pornichet so on the improve

5. ELVIRA - Won her first two runs and then fifth next twice including in a Grade One bumper last time. Big player

6. EVA CONTI - Has had four outings and placed in latest three of those. Work to do here nonetheless

Summary

There is a big clash here between the winning machine of late, (1) ESPOIR D'ALLIER, and the very talented (5) ELVIRA, who is two from four and was fifth in the grade One bumper at ParisLongchamp last time. Strong preference however is for (1) ESPOIR D'ALLIER as that one is improving rapidly having taken three of his last four. (2) ESPOIR DE GAGNER and (6) EVA CONTI have their work cut out to beat those principals.

Selections

(1) ESPOIR D'ALLIER - (5) ELVIRA - (2) ESPOIR DE GAGNER - (6) EVA CONTI

Summary

With half the field racing for the first time and the other half apparently not much cop - on the evidence so far - the debutants could be set to dominate the get-out stakes. (6) GO WINNER is not only an apt chant but has the credentials to succeed being well-bred and having recorded a fast time in qualification. However the same can be said about (3) GIANT CASH - by Ready Cash out of

Richlyly - while Franck Anne's runner (2) GENTLEMAN DE PUCH commands respect. The market may be the best guide.
