The new 5.5- cup and 10-cup rice cookers will be on display in the newly designed booth and new location (booth #L12508) at the IHA Show in Chicago from March 18-21. “The new tacook Rice Cookers come in a variety of styles and are innovatively designed by combining the best elements of our popular Rice Cookers with synchro-cooking, an exclusive technology to Tiger Corporation,” said Kentaro Matsumoto, President of Tiger Corporation U.S.A. “In today’s busy world people are looking for convenience and time saving cooking products without sacrificing taste. The Tiger tacook rice cookers do just that in an attractive package.” The “Synchro-Cooking” function is accomplished using a BPA-free plastic cooking plate, which sits over the rice inner pan. The steam from the cooking rice rises to cook the food in the cooking plate. The steam is then released from the top so it doesn’t return to the bottom, thereby retaining the integrity of the flavor of the rice. JKT-S10U (5.5-cup) / -S18U (10-cup) Induction Heating Rice Cooker uses IH technology for quick and uniform heating, powered by a micro-computerized control. The IH rice cooker produces sweet, fluffy rice every time. Induction heating technology provides greater temperature control and more consistent heat distribution. It is also a more efficient use of energy and a faster and more precise heating method. In order to make the Induction Heating possible, the new tacook rice cooker features a 7- layer inner pan consisting of five layers of metal and three layers of coating including ceramic coating (2.5mm total thickness). The pan features grip handles to make removal easy. The JKT-S collection makes cooking easy with eleven cooking menu settings including oatmeal, slow cooking and bread baking. Only Tiger Corporation incorporates an easily removable lid to make cleanup easy in the JKT-S10U/-S18U. The entire lid can be removed and each piece disassembled, including the steam vent cap, to be washed. The inner pan has a non-stick coating for easy cleanup.
