DIVISION CLINIQUING OF 2015 RSPC QUALIFIERS

1. In preparation for the 2015 Regional Schools Press Conference, this Division shallconduct the Cliniquing of 2015 RSPC Qualifiers in both elementary and secondary levels indifferent categories, English and Filipino.
2. Participants shall include the Top 7 winners in News Writing, Editorial Writing, EditorialCartooning, Feature Writing, Sports Writing, Science and Health Writing, Copyreading andHeadline Writing, Photojournalism, First Placers in Collaborative Publishing and RadioBroadcasting for elementary and selected winners in Collaborative Publishing and RadioBroadcasting for secondary.
3. This Cliniquing aims to:
• enhance the journalistic skills of RSPC qualifiers,• instill among the student-journalists and school paper advisers the values of
hardwork, discipline and perseverance; and• develop teamwork and camaraderie towards achieving excellent results.
4. Participants shall be in their respective training venue, i.e., Osorio Elem. School forelementary and Osorio National High School for secondary, on Oct. 8 & 9, Oct. 15 & 16, Oct. 22& 23,2015 and all Thursdays and Fridays in November, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Phase 1of the Cliniquing (Live-out). Participants are likewise advised to bring their own provision forfood.
5. In addition to live-out cliniquing at Osorio, Trece Martires City, all RSPC qualifiers shallattend the live-in cliniquing at Alfonso Elem. School on Oct. 28-30, 2015 for Phase 2 andDecember 1-4, 2015 for Phase 3. Participants shall bring their own beddings, medicines, andpersonal belongings for they will be required to stay in the training venue for the whole durationof the cliniquing. Student-journalists and their respective SPAs, trainers and facilitators are alsoadvised to be in the training venue at 1:00 p.m. of Oct. 27, Tuesday for the Opening Programcum General Meeting of the Education Program Supervisors in charge of Journalism, Trainers,Facilitators and Advisers.
6. Transportation and other incidental expenses relative to this training (Phases 1-3) ofstudent-journalists and their respective SPAs, trainers and facilitators shall be charged tocampus journalism fund or local school funds I MOOE subject to usual accounting proceduresor auditing rules.
7. Attached in this Memorandum is the copy of the Executive Committee, ProgramCommittee and the list of trainers and facilitators per category.
8. It is reiterated that student joining the district and higher level competitions in journalismbe given the rightful, valid and planned considerations in their academic written requirements.and performances.
9. It is also understood that teaching personnel who rendered services during Saturdaysand Sundays shall be entitled to service credit equivalent to the number of days spent for theactivity while non-teaching personnel can avail of compensatory leave.
