ABOUT THE PRESENTATION ON INNOZ TECHNOLOGIES BY MR. DEEPAK RAVINDRAN

There are very few businesses that grow from a Dorm Room into a venture poised to expandinternationally. Innoz is one such business idea that has made waves in the Mobile Industry.

The presentation will trace out the exciting story of Innoz Technologies one of the fastest growingmobile technology companies based in Trivandrum and of its youngest Indian Co-Founder and

CEO, Mr. Deepak Ravindran.

Innoz is a mobile phone and web expert company founded in August 2008 by a youngteam: Deepak Ravindran, Abhinav Sree, Ashwin Nath and Mohammed Hisamuddin. They met at LBS

Engineering College Kerala where they did their graduation and are presently the CEO, COO, CTO and

CIO respectively of Innoz Technologies.

They developed their first product, SmsGYAN, from their college Dorm Room as a college final year

project. SmsGYAN delivers information you ever needed, from the internet to your handset withoutgoing online. This service attracted millions of students through word of mouth empowering them withinstant information be it a Q&A or a LIVE cricket score.

The rest is history. Innoz now has offices at Delhi, Trivandrum and USA. It is one of 16 companiesselected to participate in the finals of DFJ-CISCO Global Business Plan Competition of Indian Angel

Network. They are officially the first Offshore Technology Business Incubated Company in India, atTechnopark Business Incubation Centre (T-BIC), Trivandrum.

Innoz recently received special recognition as a winner for Red Herrings top 100 Asia Award, aprestigious list honoring the most promising private technology ventures from the Asia business

region. NASSCOM & IAMAI rated them among the top 10 mobile application developing companies inIndia.

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION ON 1MILLION/1MILLION PROJECT BY MR. RAJESH NAIR

Mr. Rajesh Nair will speak about 1Million/1Million Project initiated by Management Expert andForbes Columnist Ms. Sramana Mitra. The initiative is targeted to help a million entrepreneurs globallyto reach $1 million in revenue, which would create an economic value of trillion dollars and alsogenerate at least 10 Million Jobs around the world.

Sramana Mitra is offering a series offreeOnline Strategy Roundtables to broader audiences ofentrepreneurs to achieve the above objective. She is willing to chart out a plan for TiE Kerala

Members to participate and brainstorm in each weeks roundtable.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Mr. Deepak Ravindranis Co-founder and CEO of Trivandrum-based Innoz Technologies, a fast-trackstartup in the area of mobile and wireless. He was recently named one of the MIT Technology Review Outstanding Innovators under 35, for Innozs flagship product, SmsGYAN, an SMS-based mobilesearch engine. The company was founded in 2008 by Deepak and three of his college buddies.Deepak Ravindran is perhaps one of the youngest CEOs of a Kerala based company.

Deepak is the recipient of several prestigious awards like mBillionth Asia Award 2010 from the

mBillionth Grand Jury, Star Entrepreneurship Award 2010 at the India Innovation Summit, DellIdea League Challenge10 and MIT-Technology Review India TR35 2011 Award.

His work has appeared in Economic Times, Times of India, Bloomberg Utvi, and more than hundredother magazines, newspapers and blogs. He holds a B.tech in Computer Science from LBS College ofEngineering, Kerala.

Mr. Rajesh Nair is a Senior Consultant of Capgemini, based in Bangalore, working for theavionic giant Airbus Industries. A close associate of Ms. Sramana Mitra, Rajesh is an Ambassadorof 1M/1M Project for entrepreneurs for South India/non Metros.

Rajesh is humorous and motivational speaker, theatre personality and a management expert rolledinto one. He is passionate on Entrepreneurship Development, Mentoring poor kinds and is very keen

to assist Kerala entrepreneurs participating in the 1Million/1Million Project of Ms. SramanaMitra. He is also associated with the India Century Mission sponsored by IIMB Founderand National Professor Padmabhushan NS Ramaswamy.
