TR-42 Initiatives

• Liaison Reports given once during the week rather than at each Subcommittee (reduces time)– Liaisons from other SDOs– Administrative information to members

• FTP site, reflector, cover sheets, other items from Subcommittees, Technical Committees, and TIA

• TR-42 Operational Guide– Updated with method for issuing liaison

letters to other SDOs between meetings

TR-42 Initiatives•Reviewing document numbering and organization

• Items reviewed in ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 WG1 and WG3 produced by TR-42– TIA 606-A had clauses adopted chapters into ISO/IEC

document– TIA 569-B Multi-tenant being reviewed and initiated

into addendum to ISO/IEC 18010– TIA 862 Building Automation Systems reviewed for

incorporation into ISO/IEC– TIA 570-A, Residential Cabling Harmonized with

ISO/IEC 15018– TSB140, reviewed and incorporated into ISO/IEC

Planning and Installation Guide
