Caution: Can’t use big cable gland with incorrect size cable

Cable wrapped with cable tape, to increase the cable’s diameter, and then tight the cable gland

Cabinet Cabling---AC Power Cable

AC power and grounding cable connection

ACPDU in Cabinet For three phases: 10mm2 cable for AC connection

For Single phases: 35mm2 cable for AC connection

For Single phases: need to put the Shot Pin

For Three phases did not need the Shot Pin

Must connect the Grounding cable first then connect AC cable

Cabinet Cabling---AC Power Cable

1. Verify that Site ACPDB’s grounding bus bar is integrated to site MGB ; 2. Verify that the Neutral cable is firmly terminated to the PLN supply and is not “floating” ; 3. AC Input voltage measurements:

L1 – Neutral (180Vac – 250Vac) L2 – Neutral (180Vac – 250Vac) L3 – Neutral (180Vac – 250Vac) Phase to Phase (346Vac – 433Vac) Neutral to Ground (<5Vac)

4. Grounding cable from site ACPDB to Cabinet ACPDU had connected.

Before connect the AC power must make sure:

Use corrugated pipe to protect the AC cable and both end were sealed by tap

AC power cable connector should be lugged, with insulation jacket

Cabinet Cabling---Cabinet Internal Grounding

1. All modules must grounding properly connect to the grounding bar of the cabinet , connector should be lugged, with heat shrink tube or boots. 2. Internal grounding wire uses ≤ 16 mm diameter Yellow/Green cable.

The bolt of grounding terminal must tighten up.

Indoor fiber must be protected by specified coiled pipe

Strap the fiber with specified cable tie

Redundant indoor fiber must be spiral wrapped properly in the cabinet side with bend radius no less than 5cm

Cabinet Cabling---External Grounding

1. Cabinet must grounding properly, grounding cable connector should be lugged, with heat shrink tube or boots 2. Grounding cable protected in corrugated pipe. 3. Grounding cable of the cabinet routed with going down direction to the Bus bar. (no upward direction) 4. Where cables are bolted to an earth bar or similar, one cable per bolt.

Cabling Requirement

1. No rips or tears or breaks in any cables 2. All redundant cables are spiral wrapped 3. All cables runs are neat and straight 4. All cables runs are tied with correct cable ties (size and colour). 5. All cable ties are trimmed properly (flush cut and not sharp) 6. No crossed cables 7. Cables are protected from sharp objects 8. No cable joints are allowed and the insulation shall be intact without scratches or damage 9. Signal, alarm and power cables are kept separate 10. Optical cables are connected via the Optical patch panel 11. Optical fiber is neatly coiled in fiber management tray 12. Optical cables are protected with dust caps 13. Optical cables are greater than minimum bend radius (50 mm) 14. All cable plugs are securely seated No loose, unconnected cables 15. Verify that the spare fibers ports in the cable management tray are correctly terminated with dust caps

DC/IF Cable Grounding

Grounding point (depend on the existing tower grounding bar)

DC/IF cable length <=60m, 1point grounding connection DC/IF cable length > 60m, 2points grounding connection (the other point is 1m form the connector on top of tower)

• Reserve DC/IF cable of proper length (~5m recommended) at the ODU end. • Loop the DC/IF cable & fix it at the top platform with black cable tie.
