We are busting with new batiks (48) that just came in. This has given us the opportunity to kit many Blooming 9 Patch kits and you know how beautiful that quilt can be. time to get those table runners (many new kits for this), tree skirts (and yes many new kits have been done) and holiday wall hanging or throw for the couch. Visit with Candy, See her quilts, Buy her pattern to make the fabulous Modern Dresden quilt that was

featured in the Keepsake Quilting catalog.

Candy Grisham is a fiber artist with a traditional, self-taught quilting background. Her fiber journey has led her to focus on using interesting colors, fabrics and themes from other cultures and nature. Using tex-tiles and stitch allows her to have endless tactile expression with vi-brant and comforting colors and endless variety. Much of her work has a ―tradition with a twist‖ quality and relies on inspirations from gen-erations gone by. She has shown her work in many national and local art

exhibits and quilt shows.

Congratulations to Kathyln Brickley!

On July 22, 2016, Kathlyn brought her finished Row-by-Row quilt into the shop. Since she was the first to arrive with a finished quilt, she won the prize of a stack of fat quarters and a book. Row patterns and kits will be available in the shop through September 6. Participants will have through October 31 to turn in quilts for prizes (but there is only one prize per shop). After Nov. 1, we will be able to mail kits for our row to anyone who would like to pur-chase one!
