Holy Redeemer School Newsletter
Dear HRS Families and Friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had a restful and blessed Christmas break. We are getting back into a routine.
It’s hard to believe that we are at the close of another quarter and half way through the school year. What is even more incredible is we begin the celebration of our 90th Anniversary! We have included some photos from students in 1935. We would love for you to share photos from all our years in operation to share the good news of Holy Redeemer.
This month we are looking forward to Catholic Schools Week. This week is an annual celebration of Catholic education across the United States. Schools from all over the country will observe this week with masses, community events, and service projects. We will do the same here at Holy Redeemer. While our events may look different this year we will still
Principal’s News
celebrate our “Faith, Excellence and Service”. Our Open House is scheduled for January 31st from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please encourage family and friends to come and discover all we have to offer. We are excited to share our “Excellence in Education with the Power of Faith.”
In light of the events last week in our nation’s capital, I want to take a moment to pray for peace and healing during this incredibly difficult time for our country. I echo Cardinal Gregory’s call to “…intentionally pause and pray for peace in this critical moment.” We pray for the Lord to send his healing spirit and unite the country. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all the happenings at HRS. Blessings, Mrs. Fernandez

How old is
Holy Redeemer School?! When looking for something else, you sometimes stumble
upon some really cool “blasts from the past!” Finding these
treasures made us think, “Do you know anyone who has
any old photos from their Holy Redeemer School days?” If
so, we would love to have a copy. Pictures can mailed or
emailed ([email protected]) to Mrs.
Sullivan. This year, Holy Redeemer School is celebrating
its 90th Anniversary! It would be a great way to celebrate
this milestone year with photos and memories from the
past.
