Thriller/ Action

Genre Features There are certain repertoires in the Action/ Thriller genre these

include Semantic this includes the props used, things like guns. This might be expected in this sort of genre, You would also expect Syntactic this is using them to communicate with the audience.

Our trailer and the genre also has to have enigma and intrigue the audience, this would make them want to see this, it would also leave them without questions.

Genre features would also include a sort of antagonist, this would be the villain. An example of this would be the The Dark Knight, as the joker being the main antagonist, Batman being the Protagonist that everyone likes.

We will also have to think about the location that we film and use, this is because if we pick the wrong location then it will defeat the point of fast paced shots. A good location would be a town or city, with lots of small side streets.

The Trailer

The trailer would should include a voice over and what they would say about the main story that

doesn’t ruin it for everyone.

You need to include shots that don’t kill the story

but, show what things are in the film, such as action sequences etc…

You also need to have sound that is appropriate

to the trailer that you are making.
