When arriving in Thredbo guests are welcomed into the unique alpine environment, a world away from distractions, and are encouraged to appreciate and enjoy the world-class destination.

The closest airport to Thredbo is the Snowy Mountains Airport, located just outside Cooma and less

than 60 minutes’ drive from Thredbo. The Snowy Mountains Airport is serviced daily during winter

and Monday to Friday during summer by Regional Express (Rex). Canberra is only a 2½ hour drive

from Thredbo and is serviced by a number of airlines from multiple destinations with transfers and

car hire also available. Thredbo is an easy five to six hour drive south of Sydney, mostly on dual

carriageway with plenty of choice for stopovers along the way. From Melbourne it takes around

seven hours via either the direct route along the Murray Valley Highway and Alpine Way or a little

longer via the scenic Kosciuszko Alpine Way.

casual BBQ Poolside. For lunch with a difference have a picnic along the beautiful Thredbo River or

grab our picnic lunch packs and head up to the top of Mt Kosciuszko for a team building exercise.

Poolside Located centrally in the Thredbo Alpine Hotel. Thredbo can arrange a BBQ lunch or dinner

Riverside Located adjacent to the Thredbo Alpine Hotel is the Thredbo River. Thredbo can arrange

a BBQ lunch or dinner beside the river while guests enjoy the natural environment.

Cascades Restaurant Relax and indulge with fresh modern cuisine, an extensive wine list and

exceptional customer service accented by sweeping views. Cascades Restaurant’s menu focuses on

fresh seafood, tender meats and delectable desserts.

The Local Pub Casual dining, serving up traditional Australian pub dishes. This is the place to mix

with the mountain, watch football, play pool and darts or just kick back and relax.

Segreto Exceptional dining featuring exquisite Italian Trattoria fare, a carefully curated wine list and

relaxed surroundings. Segreto is open nightly during the winter season and is available on request

year round for private dining events.

ONSITE BARSThere are five bars in the hotel open during the winter season with daily entertainment. Relax in

the Lounge Bar with live acoustic sets, enjoy the vibrant Schuss Bar with bands and high energy

entertainment and dance at the late night Keller Bar with DJ tunes and one off events. These bars

can be opened in summer by request for private events.
