OVERVIEW

With its idyllic beachfront location nestled on Rottnest Island in Perth, Thomsons Rottnest is the perfect location for your corporate or private event. Nestled within Thomsons Bay, we are a mere 30-minute ferry from Fremantle Harbor and a 45-minute ferry from Hillary’s Boat Harbor. The restaurant is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner hosting up to 80 guests comfortably, or to maximise the creative space and design of the venue, consider a relaxed beach cocktail style reception for up to 300 guests.

With a dedicated management and functions team, we will bring your vision to life, and tantalise your guests with delicious aromas from the kitchen. Our chefs relish bringing to you a variety of flavours and visually effective delights.

We will execute outstanding and memorable experiences for you and your guests in everything from breakfasts, morning teas, lunches and sundowners to dinners. While we are not a conference/seminar venue, we will consider these on an ad-hoc basis, providing we have the capabilities to assist.

The groups menu is available daily for lunch and dinner for groups of 20 or more people.

Our sister property Discovery Rottnest Island can cater for all accommodation requirements offering a range of luxury tents in various styles and sizes.

Overlooking Pinky’s Beach & comprising of 83 eco tents varying in size & styles to suit a range of budgets, from luxury camping to affordable family accommodation Discovery Rottnest Island is the perfect place to relax & unwind. TERMS & CONDITIONS

TENTATIVE BOOKINGSTentative bookings will be held for a period of 2 weeks. It is the responsibility of the client to confirm tentative bookings by paying a 25% deposit within the 2 week timeframe. If a deposit isn’t received the tentative date will be released.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGThe date is confirmed upon receipt of a 1) Booking Form 2) Paid Deposit 3) Signed copy of our Terms & Conditions. All quoted menu prices are subject to change & are to be used as a guideline only. Prices will NOT be finalized until a date is agreed by you & Thomsons Management.

PAYMENTA 25% non-refundable deposit is to be paid within 2 weeks of your function enquiry to confirm your event. Fourteen days prior toyour event date, 100% of your event cost is required to be paidWhen paying via BSB payment please quote your surname as reference and forward a copy of your remittance slip for our records. Payment is accepted by credit card or direct deposit. (A 1% surcharge will apply if paying via credit card) Full credit card details are required with your booking confirmation form and deposit to process all payments. Beverages ‘On Consumption’ are to be estimated between client and venue at an agreed base amount and pre-payment received 14 days in advance. This amount will be placed on your bar account which will be monitored throughout the evening by venue staff to confirmwhen account balance is reached. The client may wish to extend a bar account, by which time our venue staff will ensure a creditcard authorisation form is received and signed by the client with permission to extend. Please complete our Credit Card Authorisation Form in advance to ensure you have this approved by your management team and this can be processed with prior approval. Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the card to cover the additional charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY All deposits are non-refundable. Notice within 14 days of your function date, 100% of the wedding cost will be charged.

FINAL NUMBERSFinal guest numbers must be confirmed at least 14 working days prior to the event and will be the minimum number charged for.Once processed this amount is non-refundable should you cancel your event.

HIRE ITEMSThe venue has no restrictions on suppliers, however please advise your Sales Event Manager of who is delivering including contact details & delivery times. If you are planning to freight or book a DJ, band etc. that will be freighting large items over to therestaurant, please include shipping & delivery charges into your budget. The suppliers are responsible for pick up & delivery with the venues guidelines.

PROPERTYThe client is responsible for the conduct of the guests & indemnifies the restaurant for all costs, expenses, damage & loss caused by any act made by the client or the clients guests. Any damage caused by guests to Thomsons Restaurant will be the financial responsibility of the client.

DAMAGE & LOSSWe do not accept responsibility for damage to, or loss of, any client property left on the premises prior to, during or after a function (including hired equipment/goods). Clients are financially responsible for any damage to fittings, property or equipment by themselves, guests & outside contractors, prior to, during or after a function. You are welcome to arrange insurance if you wish.

DUTY OF CAREUnder the liquor licensing laws of Western Australia, we have a duty of care to all our clients & reserve the right of our duty manager to refuse service of alcohol to persons he/she deems are intoxicated & may do harm to themselves other patrons or property.
