SRI International Sarnoff Nov 2011 – May 2013Field Applications Engineer

Daily tasks included troubleshooting geo-registration software (TerraSight). A complex software designed to place real time video on top of a 3-D terrain model viewed on a computer screen

Consistently responsible for configuration of software, and sensors (cameras), on a multitude of operating platforms.

Deployed to Kuwait for one year in order to refurbish and refit hardware, and software returning to the Afghanistan Theatre of Operations.

Tasked with learning, and mastering new software. Expertise was achieved through continuous hands on training, and constant consultation of the written technical manuals pertaining to the equipment.

While in Kuwait the team worked closely with various separate teams and assisted them in achieving their individual missions. Tasks included but were not limited to:

1. Disassembling and reassembling hardware components i.e. quad/ hexacore computers, NETGEAR Firewalls, Cisco Switches/Routers, Keyboard/ Mouse components, Internal and external video monitors, and power sources

2. Troubleshooting software issues, and configuring components using web interfaces3. I.P. configurations, Port Settings, and network configuration4. Cloning hard drives from a master set of drives in order to be redistributed to the inventory.

Immediately following infantry graduation attended United States Army Airborne School, Fort Benning, Georgia. Graduated with peers.

Stationed in Vicenza, Italy, following Airborne School, assigned to Battle Company, 2nd Battalion (Infantry) 503rd (Airborne Regiment), 173d Airborne Brigade.

Volunteered and was chosen above peers to attend United States Army Ranger School in October of 2004. Graduated with peers and returned to Vicenza, Italy 2005

Deployed to Afghanistan (1st Tour) March 2005 – March 2006 as a Machine Gun Team Leader. Operated in the areas of Kandahar, Oruzgon, and Arghandab in support of ISAF Conducted various Continuous Operations (CONOP’s) at the company, platoon, and squad level Returned to Vicenza, Italy with the unit, and chosen above peers to attend the Sergeant (E-5) promotion

Conducted various airborne and tactical training operations within USAREUR as a fire team leader from 2006 – 2007

Deployed to Afghanistan (2nd Tour) on May 1st 2007 – August 1st 2008 as Fire Team Leader Operated in the Korengal Valley, Kunar Province, Afghanistan in support of ISAF Conducted daily operations, and Continuous Operations (CONOP’s) in support of OEF 8 to include

Operation Rock Avalanche Fulfilled contractual obligation to the Army on November, 7th 2008, and returned to the United States as a

civilian. From 2003 – 2008 received multiple awards including:
