This year’s choir have been very fortunate in the amount of new members joining them. for the year 7 choir they have got over 10 Members. They meet on a Wednesday lunchtime. Senior choir has a great amount of members this term and they meet after school on a Wednesday. They have been singing really well and have sung a variety of different songs. We will be fortunate to have them sing for us in the Downend spring concert.

• In choir everyone has been working very hard to learn all the songs they can and get ready for the upcoming concerts. In June the music group have been scheduled to go to London for a concert to help them with their learning. Let’s hope everyone has fun!!!

RAW-reading and writing. This year’s bunch aren't very big in numbers but have got a big lot of determination. This year the Concorde Book Awards are being held at Downend School. They've worked hard up until now to make sure that this will all work out. The famous author Chris Higgins will be there and some year 7’s are lucky enough to be able to interview her before the start of the show.

We hope that everyone enjoyed it this year.

club have been meeting every Tuesday for the past and upcoming few weeks. The Concorde Book Awards are behind us and the Carnegie is coming up. People have been working hard to make sure it’s all done in time.
