Dads in Schools Day at LCCS

At school yesterday my dad came to school. We did hand painting. I had to paint my dads hand green. He had to paint mine blue. I had to splat it on a canvas. After I had to wash my hands. It didn’t come off. After that I went to play cricket. The ball came straight towards me. I didn’t catch it because I was too shy. After that I went to the parachute. We had to put balls on the parachute and we had to shake and catch. We also had to pull up the parachute and we had to give someone a high five. We had to run around the parachute 2 times. After that it was lunch. I had a sausage on bread. We went into Year 3, we played Senga. After me and dad went to skip. We had to find which one doesn’t belong.

I played with the paint. Then in the classroom we had maths. At lunch we had a sausage sizzle. I went to the playground and I skipped around.

Yesterday my pop and dad came to school. We played with the parachute and on the parachute there were balls. We had so much fun with them, and we painted our hand. I had red and my pop had blue and then we had a photo with our painted hands and the card and my pops hand was on the bottom and my hand was on the top. Yesterday it was hot. We had a sausage sizzle and we played cricket. We came inside to do some maths. My pop had to fill out the piece of paper. The sausage was yummy and I enjoyed the day.

My dad and mum came to my school and we painted with blue paint and my dad’s paint was red. I went to play cricket and we had the ball. We threw the ball and I went to the parachute. We had fun and at lunch I ate one hot dog. After lunch I went to the library.

Year 2 News

Year 2 have been lucky enough to have some special

visitors in our classroom at the beginning of the term.

Students welcomed some chickens and some rabbits in

Week 3. Ronny kindly showed off his new baby chickens

and Kasey allowed us to engage with some beautiful

soft rabbits.

We took this opportunity to discuss responsibilities and

benefits of owning a pet.

Year 3 News

For Dads in School Day, students were asked

to draw a picture of their father to display in

the classroom. The drawings were used to

see if the dads could pick which one was of

them!

A big thank you to the dads and relatives who

visited our classroom.

The drawings below are by Charli-mae (top)

and Ace.
