Announcements!
90-DAY TITHING CHALLENGE: Today, during communion time, we will have an opportunity to receive our offerings, and our commitment cards to participate in the 90 Day Tithe Challenge. Consider partnering with God in this. He is inviting us to join Him in demonstrating his loving care and provision towards us as a witness to ourselves and to others. This is a commitment between you and Your Lord.
NEXT SUNDAY—DAVID RUIZ David was born to a Puerto Rican family in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by the violence of the gang culture. He moved to Los Angeles and his life transformed when he received Jesus as his Savior. He is a trumpet player a tremendous tenor and evangelist. His travels took him to Russia, where his heart was broken over the many needs of abandoned children and human depravity due to addiction of many forms and several outreaches were born. Come and listen to him as he sings and shares his heart. You can find more information online at www.daveruiz.org
SOCKS FOR THE HOMELESS: It’s that time of the year again! Time to gather a big box of socks that will be given to the homeless now that colder will be coming soon. As you are out and about pick up some white athletic-type socks that are on sale many places during back-to-school sales. A box has been placed in the foyer, be-low the information table for all the socks. Good prices can be found at Walmart, 99cents stores, Dollar Tree, and Target. Your small investment will bless many!
Sandie Morgan’s niece & nephew—after an emergency C-section, lost their
little baby to sepsis. Please pray God’s peace and strength through it all and
Pastor’s daughter who has been through it all with them.
Peter Haugo — Continue to pray for all the issues of elder care in regards to
his father and mother. Also, for a friend that has liver cancer and as a con-
sequence has bruising all over her body. She is catholic. Peter asks for
prayer not only for her healing, but that through it all she would know Jesus
as her personal Savior.
Luis Clavijo— Long time member who now lives in Colorado. Had success-
ful open heart surgery on Wednesday and doing well. Praise the Lord!
Tim & Connie’s friend, Erma—Just found out that she has a brain tumor.
Loretta Frias—Has had an especially painful flare up of psoriatic arthritis.
Her knees are hurting so much she can hardly walk. Please pray for God’s
healing hand on her.
Richard Thomas’ dad—Had emergency surgery to remove gall bladder, but
also has sepsis. Please pray for medications to work, wisdom for doctors,
strength for him, and God’s joy and peace in the midst of the trial.
