Monday, October 8th – Thanksgiving Day
Did you know that a devotional or short story with Scripture and
the Lord's Prayer is up and running in our public schools every
morning!
EMMS, Minnewasta and Maple Leaf all have this 5-10 min
program that happens before school starts. (8:40 am). This is an
awesome opportunity to invite God into our schools, to pray right
in our schools, and for our students to invite God into every area
of their lives. Wouldn't it be cool if so many kids came out each
morning, that people took note of a great thing happening!
Encourage your kids to attend. Note - if you didn't sign the
petition at the beginning of the year, send a note to school so
your child can attend.
Also there is a get together for the high school kids. It's Thursdays
at 12:30, in the Lutheran church basement, across the street from
the high school. Free Pizza lunch, with short Bible study during
lunch – lead by Mark and Marie Turner. Open to all!
Talk to Darlene Blatz if you have questions.

Our Vision- “Committed to Jesus, Investing in Each Other, Impacting the World.” “Plant the good seeds of righteousness and you will harvest a crop of
love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to
seek the LORD, that He may come and shower righteousness upon
you.” (Hosea 10:12)
Our Affiliation – MAC is part of The Christian and Missionary Alliance
(C&MA) family of churches in Canada and around the world. Prayer of the Canadian Alliance Church family: “O God, with all our hearts, we long for You. Come, transform us to be Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused people, multiplying disciples everywhere.”
Our Beliefs – The Alliance believes in the historic doctrines of the
Christian faith, including God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the inerrancy of the Bible, and that the only way to God is through Jesus. A Statement of Faith is available at the Info Booth.
Our Leadership – The Board of Elders is elected by MAC members to
work with the pastors in giving direction and oversight to everything the church does.
