EMMS, Minnewasta and Maple Leaf all have this 5-10 min program that happens before school starts. (8:40 am). This is an awesome opportunity to invite God into our schools, to pray right in our schools, and for our students to invite God into every area of their lives. Wouldn't it be cool if so many kids came out each morning, that people took note of a great thing happening! Encourage your kids to attend. Note - if you didn't sign the petition at the beginning of the year, send a note to school so your child can attend. Also there is a get together for the high school kids. It's Thursdays at 12:30, in the Lutheran church basement, across the street from the high school. Free Pizza lunch, with short Bible study during lunch lead by Mark and Marie Turner. Open to all! On October 20, Pembina Valley Bible Camp is hosting it’s 3rd annual LUMBERJACK SPLIT & STACK event. Wood is the camp’s main

The Society for Manitobans with Disabilities and the Cerebral Palsy Assoc. of Manitoba invites all families that have a child or adult family member with a physical and/or intellectual disability for an afternoon of encouragement. MP Jonathan Wilkinson, who, to this point, served as the parliamentary secretary to Environment Minister Catherine McKenna, will serve as the minister of fisheries, oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard. Filomena Tassi Minister for seniors - a key demographic group courted by all political parties. This is a new position. Bill Blair Bill Blair to a newly created ministerial position designed to solely address Canada-U.S. border issues and "irregular migration." Pablo Rodriguez Montreal MP Pablo Rodriguez has been named minister of heritage and multiculturalism, replacing Mélanie Joly who takes on tourism, official languages and La Francophonie.
