Selling Class
287 £5 per pen (24” pen). Maximum of three birds, one large
waterfowl or 4 bantams to a pen. High Peak Poultry Club
will conduct the sale and take responsibility for the
exchange of monies. Each seller must sign when payment
is received, suitable boxes must be provided (pens can
be re-used during day)
Sales will be conducted to DEFRA regulations.
Vendors’ and purchasers’ details are retained for
DEFRA for a minimum of six months.
Derbyshire Trading Standards represent DEFRA at
the show and will be in attendance.

Rules
The show is held under the rules of the POULTRY CLUB OF
GREAT BRITAIN. Copies of these rules are available from the
PCGB. The Poultry Club representative is Mr Paul Kerfoot.
The show is run under DEFRA regulations for bird gatherings.
The committee of the HIGH PEAK POULTRY CLUB, whilst taking
every care, cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury to
exhibitors or visitors, their property or any exhibits.
Exhibits can only be entered in one class.
No overnight penning.
Pen numbers available from 8:30 am on show day.
All exhibits to be staged by 9.45am and to remain until 4pm.
Admittance to the show hall will be by payment of £3.00.
Entry to the Show is free to Exhibitors with penning slips. Free
parking is available to HPPC members.
E-mail entries acknowledged, pay on the day. No attachments
please. No telephone entries after closing date.
All entries MUST be paid for, whether forward or not, before
show commences.
Any Perpetual Trophies awarded are to be held for one year and
MUST be returned to the HPPC Cup Steward no later than the
day of the following show.
DEFRA Regulations require that Veterinary cover to be on call
for shows. Any charges incurred will be the responsibility of the
owner/exhibitor of the bird requiring treatment.

the correct classes and that multiple entries in a class are clear.
All exhibitors should note that they are responsible for feeding
and watering exhibits ‘after‘ judging.

Meetings of the club are held at the Queens Hotel, Dove Holes,
near Buxton on the first Friday of each month (except August).

Car park tickets MUST be displayed on dashboards or the
wardens will issue a parking ticket.
