Golden Encouragement Ministries

Announcing a new ministry to those of us who have a heart for the elderly and home bound.

GEMS will begin in June.

We have adopted a Senior Living Care/Memory Care Facility, Maplewood Senior Living at Heather Hill in Chardon where we will be visiting residents weekly.

To prepare for this new ministry, there will be a training session

on Saturday, May 31 from 9am to 11:30am with registration at 8:30am.

Chaplain Bill Goodrich from God Cares Ministry will be the instructor.

TEENS – grades 7-12 Teens will leave from

the church this

Saturday, May 24 at 11:45am for FUN – N – STUFF. Cost is $20

per person plus money for food. We will be back to the church

around 6 to 6:30pm. Must sign up with Pastor Brad today.

Baptismal Service will be on Sunday, June 29 during the

AM Service. If you have a personal relationship with Christ and

wish to baptized, sign up at the info center.

Bike Ride and Hike This church wide event will be

You Are Invited to a 90th Birthday Celebration James Butcher is 90 years old and you are invited to celebrate

with him this Saturday, May 24th, 12 noon to 4pm here at the

church.

Young Adults Married and Single Plan to join us for a PICNIC on Sunday, June 8 at

the Twin Ponds Shelter off Hobart Road in

Kirtland. Time: 4pm to 8pm. Bring a side dish to share and

beverage. Ball field, playground, walking trails, etc. Sign up at

the information center as soon as possible.

Child Dedication If you are interested in having your child dedicated to the Lord

on a Sunday morning, please pick up a child dedication form

from the literature rack in the foyer. Complete the form and

drop in the office drop next to the office door.

Volunteers Needed Looking for help running our CD Ministry. Must have basic PC

Technical Arts Ministry is looking for a person(s) to operate

house and stage lighting during Sunday Morning Worship. If

Volunteers Needed Children’s Ministries is in need of summer volunteers for the

10:45 service. The following are our needs:

1 Adult – Nursery 1 Adult – Pre-K 1 Adult – Game Room

It is important to have these positions filled as soon as possible

in order to keep all of our classrooms open and operating.
