Start Game Modes Options Quit This is the main menu for a Word search game, in this menu you have a start button which if pressed will start a random game from any of the game modes, and if you leave the game and log back into it the menu will change showing resume game and new game buttons. The game mode button allows you to select a particular game mode from the menu The options button allows you to select in-game options, difficulty, what colour highlights the words you’ve found what type of background picture/colour or theme. And the quit button leaves the game and takes you back to the desktop

This is the game mode selection menu, from this menu you can select which particular game mode you want to play.
Time trial is a game mode which puts you against the clock you’ll have 10 minutes to complete the word search before you fail, if you succeed your time will be put on the leader board and the next word search will be available to you.
Point search is a game mode that rewards points for finding words, you have to select a box that has a word blacked out upon clicking it the word is visible and you have to find it, the quicker you find it the more points are rewarded.
Player vs AI is a game mode which is turned based and there are a odd number of word to ensure a winner each player is given a word to find and a time limit to find it.

This is the options menu where you can make changes such as the difficulty of the word search, the highlight Colour for when selecting words.
The background colour/picture are the same thing and only one can be selected, if you choose a colour then there will be no picture. The theme is the design of the board of which the word search will be presented i.e. (on a tablet/phone – notepad – newspaper- wall scroll- computer)
And all these settings/changes will only be applied when the apply button is pressed.
