This is an example of racial discrimination. In this scene of the film “The help”, set in 1960, we can see a black woman, Minny, the housekeeper, who is dismissed only because she used the master bathroom. This fact makes her mistress disgusted.

In this episode we can distinguish different kinds of discrimination: Kurt is gay, Rachel is the daughter of two men, Finn is the ”perfect boy”, but he is discriminated because he wants to sing and Artie is bullied because he is on a wheelchair.

In the film “Beastly” we can see a nice boy, Kyle, who thought that exterior beauty was everything, so he discriminated everyone who wasn’t beautiful. He must learn to be loved for his inner beauty. The boy, learns that it doesn’t matter what we are outwardly, but what we are inside.

DISCRIMINATION IS FOR THE IGNORANT.
