In these paintings there are shapes. These shapes make a pattern and that is what makes the paintings affective.

In this drawing i drew a shell. First i drew the outline of the shell then i shaded the darker parts. After that i rubbed out some of the shadows to make the highlights. At the end i smudged some of the led on the right side of shell to create the shadow.

I chose theses images because I love the way the it is shaped and the way she painted it.

I chose this image because I found it very interesting on how Matisse drew with the scissors,it had different shapes and I loved how he layered them, also the sizes are all different and the different colours the vegetables were.I learnt that layering is good because it makes it more colorful and more effective, but don’t make it to packed because it makes it look to much.
