FIRELEC FIRELEC Migration Migration SolutionSolution
Don't let wiring costs prevent you from upgrading a
PROVOX 20 series system to a DeltaV system
• No existing Provox hardware is kept (I/O File – I/O card – I/O panel – I/O cable)
• Existing Provox I/O panels are replaced by new IOPs which are electrically and mechanically fully compatible
• Existing wiring is kept in place
• Time for HW migration from an old toward a new I/O panel : about 30mn per panel

architecture is installed
The new FIRELEC I/O cables are installed between IOPs and DeltaV I/O cards
The new IOPs are installed using the existing mechanical
structure of the cabinets(30 mn per panel)

Advantages
The main advantages of the IOPs panels for PROVOX migration are as follow :
•Existing wiring is just disconnected and reconnected without any change at the same place
(same terminals with same labelling and same electrical features)
•The existing loop drawings are kept without any modification, allowing all maintenance processes and procedures
to remain unchanged.
