We have had an outstanding Science Week! Our Science Expo held last Wednesday began at 9.30 am
in an amazing way with the PAC and the Gymnasium full of a variety of activities. The day involved all classes visiting the Expo for some collaborating, exploring, investigating and problem solving. The day
ended by welcoming families to the Expo from 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm. This was a wonderful opportunity for families to expand their curiosity and develop their understanding together.
Sincere thanks to all who attended and a massive thank you to Mrs McKenzie and Miss Ashman for
leading us in Science. Steve

Tree Planting at Rocherlea Last week 30 Year 1/2 students were invited to participate in Bell Bay Aluminium’s Annual Tree Planting Day. This
year we planted trees in the dog exercise space behind the Rocherlea Football Ground. The students had a lovely
morning in the mud planting trees before enjoying a drink and some barbecue. Thank you to Bell Bay Aluminium for
inviting us to participate once again and to James Burke Moving Pictures for the images.
