What are the principal causes of visual handicap in the elderly population? What are CVI, RVI and LVL? Who receives copies of the CVI forms? What additional information is provided to the patient with the CVI, RVI and LVL? What services might be available for a patient with visual impairment? How might these vary for a patient who is not registered compared to someone registered Partially sighted or Blind? These are some of the commonest problems talked about by clients/patients with a visual impairment, think of as many solutions to each problem, not necessarily optical. 1.
