Page 6: Third Quarter Session 1 Intro and homosexuality.pdf

God created men and women in his image and likeness, and with

dignity.

While men and women are different, both are also made for each other.

They are called to share themselves with one another in love.

Part of being created as humans is our sexuality.

Sexuality is not the sex act, but it is the basic capacity to relate as man or woman

with others, in fidelity (faithfulness) and love.

Page 8: Third Quarter Session 1 Intro and homosexuality.pdf

God has given the gift of sexuality for relationship and friendship, the deepest of which is marriage.

God created us out of love and we share this love to others - with our family, spouse,

children, siblings, or friends.

"Be very lowly and modest in all your

dealings with others. Learn to pardon and

support their weaknesses very

patiently, reflecting that if they are not good

now, they will be some day."

Page 10: Third Quarter Session 1 Intro and homosexuality.pdf

God gave us the 6th and 9th Commandments to guide us how to respect our sexuality. If we know how to respect our sexuality then it would lead us

to understand the importance of practicing the virtue of faithfulness in our families and in our

relationship with other people.
