A COMPLEX, POLITICAL WITCH HUNT…� The �rst claim of an “Armenian Genocide”

surfaced in 1965, 50 years after the alleged event, when Soviet Union instigated Armenia to hurt the Republic of Turkey, a member of NATO and a staunch ally of the US during Cold War? (1)

� Armenian sources note that the Russian army forcibly relocated about 300,000 Armenians during WW I, half of whom perished during the process. Why haven’t Armenians accused Russia of ethnic cleansing? (2)

� At the end of WW I, Britain gained full control of major Turkish cities, including Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire, and conducted an exhaustive investigation of Ottoman archives to substantiate the Armenians’ claim; the 2-year search yielded no evidence that could withstand the scrutiny of a court room, resulting in the release of all 144 Turkish detainees on the island of Malta without trial; hence the Malta Tribunal of 1919-1921 was abandoned before it could start (3)

� The main piece of evidence for the genocide claim – the Blue Book – was found to be a compilation of notes from Armenian revolutionaries and crusaders. (4)

Reports are being freely circulated in the United States that the Turks massacred thousands of Armenians in the Caucasus. Such reports are repeated so many times it makes my blood boil. The Near East Relief have the reports from Yarrow and our own

American people which show that such Armenian reports are absolutely false. The circulation of such false reports in the United States, without refutation, is an outrage and is certainly doing the Armenians more harm than good. … Why not tell the truth about the Armenians in every way?

It would seem as if an Armenian insurrection to help the Russians had broken out at Van. Thus a former deputy here, one Pastormadjian who had assisted our proposed railway concessions some years ago, is now supposed to be �ghting the Turks

TURKISH AMERICANS IN CALIFORNIA FEEL DISCRIMINATEDAccording to a 2015 poll conducted of Turkish Americans in California:

73% HAVE LIVED in CA over 10 years (27% have lived in CA for 1-9 years)

68% REPORT having Armenian-American friends

ONLY 25% CLASSIFY their interactions with Armenian-Americans as “generally or mostly positive”-

Overwhelmingly, negative interactions were reported.

63% REPORT having been bullied because of their Turkish American heritage/ ethnicity

Their Absolute Power is Corrupt, Absolutely…� On February 18, 2009, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) �led a complaint with the US Dept. of Justice, the IRS, the State Dept. and the House of Representatives with evidence indicating that the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) were engaged in acts that violated the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), the Foreign Agents Registration Act and the Lobbying Disclosure Act. On March 16, 2009, the US Dept. of Justice announced an investigation into the matter. (6)

� In 2010, the FBI arrested more than 50 Armenians who were involved in a nationwide gang responsible for the largest Medicaid Fraud ever (~$163 million). The FBI said the group used, “….violence and threats of violence to ensure respect for and payments to its leadership”. (7)

� In 2001, Mourad Topalian, former chairman of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) was sentenced to 37 months in prison for possession & storage of weapons and explosives that were believed to be linked to an attack on the Turkish Consulate in New York. (11)

� In February 2011, US Law Enforcement o�cials arrested and charged 100 members and associates of the Armenian Power crime group, based in East Hollywood. The group was engaged in narcotics tra�cking, extortion, and kidnapping among other things. (8)

No One is Safe from the Wrath of Armenian Americans… Anything “Turkish” Is A Target…Starbucks CorporationFebruary 2015: Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) launched a campaign against Starbucks for placing photographs of Turkish dancers in Turkish costumes under a Turkish �ag, taken by Tim Rose at a festival in Turkey. ANCA claimed these photos were of Armenian origin, despite the evidence at hand, and bullied Starbucks into issuing an apology for the photos.

Kobe Bryant & Turkish AirlinesDecember 2010: Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers, one of the most popular athletes in the world, announced that he agreed to become a global ambassador of Turkish Airlines. Armenian diaspora groups immediately launched a barrage of attacks through social media and other platforms against Kobe. He proceeded with his plan despite intense bullying and protests.

City of Carson, CAMarch 4, 2015: A garden sculpture project promoting intercultural tolerance featuring Mustafa Kemal Ataturk - the founder of the Republic of Turkey - was abandoned by the City Council of Carson after a barrage of negative media attacks and protests by Armenians.

CALPERS and CALSTRSOngoing (1990s-2000s): Armenian-American California State Assembly members introduce countless bills against the interests of Californians. The latest, AB 1410, introduced by Assemblyman Nazarian & Achadjian, proposed to prevent CALPERS and CALSTRS from investing in securities, vehicles and businesses associated with the Republic of Turkey, the 17th largest economy in the world. This bill- nonsensical and practically impossible to implement – is the latest in a string of attempts to demonize all things Turkish.

Mehmet Baydar and Bahadir Demir) in Santa Barbara.� October 3, 1977, a bomb exploded at the doorsteps of the home of Dr. Stanford Shaw of UCLA, a proli�c Jewish- American historian of the

Ottoman Empire widely known for his views against the Armenian claims. � November 1981, destruction of a building of the Turkish consulate in Beverly Hills, CA� January 1982, Consul General of Turkey Hon. Kemal Arikan was killed in Los Angeles on his way to work and Hon. Orhan Gunduz in Boston was

killed. � Armenian terrorists were responsible for the 1981 bomb attack at the Anaheim Convention Center area of Disneyland (10). � May 1982, three ASALA members put a bomb in cargo department area of Air Canada at LAX.� Armenian terrorists are embraced by the Armenian community in California. Vicken Yacoubian, Viken Hovsepian and Steven Dadaian, who were

convicted of transporting dynamite on an airliner with the intent to blow up a building in Philadelphia, PA, were later granted US citizenship and are now seen as the pillars of the Armenian community. Armenian-Americans raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Hampig Sassounian, the convicted murderer of Hon. Kemal Arikan, and continued to assert his innocence despite his own admission that he committed the assassination (14).

Today, Turkish diplomats serving in the US continue to receive intensive armed protection by the FBI due to the ongoing threats; and any Turkish American cultural and heritage celebrations continue to be done in the shadow of tight security. (13)
