It is our way of saying Thank You and learning to appreciate what we have, as opposed to constantly thinking of what we lack or what we want! It’s good for the soul and one of the best ways I know for getting out of a cranky mood.” ~ Gala Darling Vintage Wallpaper M y Grandparents bathroom features the best wallpaper I have ever seen. It is made up of humorous vignettes of bath scenes, and I am really in love with it. Last time I visited I took some photos to create some sketches in Illustrator. I am working on a series of several of these bath scenes for my own bathroom and am so thrilled with how they are working out! Chick Peas/ Food Gawker L ast night I made warm chick pea salad, and it was amazing. I always have chick peas on hand, however I didn’t really know what to make with them besides hummus! Until I discovered: www.foodgawker.com An amazing resource with tons of creative and yummy meal solutions! Loose Leaf Tea A lways fresh and flavourful; my current favourite is caramel cream from www.naturesessentailgarden.com An Alberta company run by two absolutely lovely people. Life T his Discovery Channel program is perfect for snuggling on the couch with the family on a chilly, drizzly Sunday. The photography is incredible, I’m so enthralled by this series! Moleskine Notebooks T he perfect notebook. I have several on the go right now, and am egarly anticipating the fall when I will have use for a lovely day planner! On The Road by Jack Kerouac read this book. That is all.
