They consist of groups of people from all ages, from all walks of life and every background who share a firm belief in UNESCOs ideals as set out in its Constitution. An international NGO called the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA) was formed in 1981 as the international coordinating body of the movement of Clubs for UNESCO worldwide. WFUCA is a NGO that has official relations with UNESCO. The EFUCA is an international network of organisations representing, at the national level, a worldwide system of private citizens and local organisations daily committed to the UN ideals on peace and equality. At the present, 22 countries participate as members in our network. The Federation has, as its own members, National Federations, Centres and Clubs. Alumnus Club for UNESCO is part of the Romanian Federation of UNESCO Associations, Centers and Clubs and was founded in Its members are young people across 10 European countries. The club wants to offer opportunities to its members to be involved in educational, scientific, cultural and communication projects. Two important projects started in 2009 in collaboration with the Sector for Culture of UNESCO : -Metamorphoses (workshops for young people on the European identity) The 7th sessions was organized in Youth and Museums (workshops for museums specialists) Alumnus Club has established numerous partnerships in Europe and elsewhere 15 years The project NOW WE aimed to stimulate the artistic potential of institutionalized children, ncluding Gypsy children in order to better integrate them in society. In 2009, Alumnus Club for UNESCO in collaboration with SILIVIA KERIM Associations held in Bucharest a meeting dedicated to the institutionalized children from Bucharest and Mure, children with multiple artistic talents. At this event was participated 18 gypsy children from Mure and 50 children from Bucharest from two centre. They presented a beautiful artistic program which included vocal and instrumental music, traditional dances and small theatre scenes. Alumnus Club proposed a pilot project inviting young people from Europe to define and express the identity of their region. Supported by the National Romanian Commission for UNESCO, the European Federation of UNESCOs Clubs (EFUCA), as well as the World Federation (WFUCA), the project was submitted to the UNESCO. The Organization financed the first, the third and the seventh sessions. The fifth session of the Metamorphoses project (2013) was organized to promote the ethnic diversity in Romania, on a cultural base. A series of multimedia workshops were organized with the young participants to the project, using various techniques of artistic expression: graphics, painting, photography, collage and short video productions. At this project was participated also two young Gypsies. In 2015 the seventh session of the Metamorphoses project was organized in Bucharest, with the aim of defining the European culinary identity. The Romanian delegation also includes two gypsies, who cooked traditional Romanian dishes. The enthusiastic participation of twenty young people from 17 countries in this session and the relevance of their achievements are the best evidence of the usefulness of the project. The Alumnus Club organised in October 2015 the 3th session of the Asia-Europe Forum on Education. One of the topics discussed was the education and the national minorities. A children's drawing exhibition was organized during the 3th Asia- Europe Forum on Education. Thank you for your attention !
