SYNOPSIS Talented beauties are set to compete for the honorary title of Miss Teen USA. The reigning Miss New York is said to be the one to beat

this year. The contestants will kick off the night of glitz and glamour with an elegant evening gown modeling challenge. When they reach the end of the runway, they will be asked an interview question by the pageant director, Ms. Victoria Morning. After the final

contestant interview, the astounding talent competition will commence. The Miss Teen USA pageant is famous for the wide array of talent the contestants display during this part of the contest. Expect to see standup comic routines, dancing, singing, puppetry, and more. This year, the diamond crown prize will be on display at the event, so the contestants will have a chance to visit the coveted

award before this year’s winner is announced. You are a contestant in the pageant. You’ve chosen the perfect gown, have practiced your interview skills, and are working hard on your talent routine. This is where your story begins.

beauty queen. Ms. Morning knows the ins and outs of pageants. In the past decade since she was hired as the director, all pageants have run as

smooth as butter.

An evening gown and a crown to

display (it can be plastic) sitting on a satin pillow a prop. Another optional

prop is a ‘Miss Teen US’ sash to display next to the crown.

Ms. Morning does not perform a talent routine in the pageant. She can, however,

perform a talent routine before the contestants to get the contestants warmed up

for the competition! (She is a former beauty queen.)

THE ROUNDS ARE DESIGNED AS FOLLOWS: PRE-GAME: these pre-game cards are to be delivered to each guest before the party or give them to the guests after they have all arrived. The pre-game cards are optional and do not alter the mystery. They’re intended to enhance the pre-game build up for the event. ROUND ONE: Deliver these clues as your guests arrive. Serve small snacks and mini milkshakes. Make sure the ‘Guest Instructions’ and the ‘List of Contestants’ are available for your guests to read when they arrive. You can also take the time to review these materials with your guests before starting the game. Host the evening gown competition and interviews. ROUND TWO: First, you’ll host the talent competition. Then, make the announcement of crime. Deliver the clue cards while you serve a light dinner to your guests. The investigation of the crime commences. SOLUTION ROUND THREE: Cake and hot chocolate should be served during this round as the guests read their final solutions.

ROUND TWO - INVESTIGATION • If anyone asks why you were standing by the crown

before the evening gown competition started, tell them you were admiring it to see what shape of diamond you want when you finally purchase your first diamond ring.

• Character A (name removed to minimize spoilers) leads a security crew at her school. They patrol the halls and catch kids in the act of crimes! She doesn’t get into any trouble.

• You heard Character B is saving her money to buy a new boat. If she stole the diamond, she could sell it to get the rest of the money for the boat!

• The diamond was stolen during the talent competition! • Character Y was worried about her talent costume not

having enough sparkle. Maybe she stole the diamond and put it on her costume?
