Masterbatches

The masterbatches are available on the basis of:

• PA6, PA6.6, ABS, SAN, Olefine, EVA, Universal

With the features:

• Black• Individual colours• Electric conductivity• UV-stabilized • Manufacturing and heat stabilized• Lubricant supplemented• Adhesive supplemented• Compatibilizer supplemented.

Compounds

Besides Masterbatches also Compounds are available on thebasis of:• PA6, PA6.6, PA-Blends, PC, POM, PBTP, PP-Blends

With the features:

• Electric conductivity• Powder coating applicable• Electromagnetic shielding• Extreme resistance, dimensionally stability and rigidity• Estetic surfaces• Reduced dynamic friction• Intensivied with glass fibers/spheres, mineral, carbon

fibers, nanotubes or mixtures thereof• Elastomer modified• Lubricants, modifier or stabilizer supplemented

Due to numerous interesting properties our products findapplication e.g. in the powder coating industry.Therefore, three major properties are of particular interest:

• High dimensional stability• Up to 250 °C inherently stable• Electric conductivity of 102 Ohm to 1011 Ohm!

Powder coated plastics show clear advantages compared toconventional coloured thermoplastics.Exemplarily, they possess:• Smooth, homogenous surfaces of high rigidity• High coating adhesion• Remarkable surface conductivity or EMI-shielding (powder

Functional Polyethers Polyols

Polyethers gain steadily increasing importance, due to theirunique properties, such as a high elasticity, water vaporpermeability and abrasion resistance. Applications are inthe production of fibers, polyurethanes or thermoplasticelastomers, resulting in materials covering the textile,automotive, packaging and consumer-goods industry. Dueto its excellent fungus and microbial resistance andbiocompatibility, medical applications range fromencapsulants for pacemakers, catheter tubing and heartdevices.Furthermore, the polar structure of polyether polyols issuitable to act as oxygen barrier, applicable in the packagingindustry.

Outstanding Calcium Carbonate

The application of fillers, such as calcium carbonate (calcite)or talcum, leads to improved material properties.Special characteristics are:• Improved stiffness• Increased dimensional stability under heat, inclusive a

higher continuous operating temperature of the compound is possible

• Better CO2-balance• Enhanced oxygen- and water vapor barrier• Higher density Saving of material quantities possible

Specialty of Calcite in GranaFill• Novel synthesis procedure• Low polydispersity of the particles• High purity > 95%• Shell-shaped cristalites no abrasive edges Protection of the polymers during the extrusion process

Applications range from filled polypropylene in food industry to automotive industry.
