We’ve crossed the Jurubida River with the town in the background

You can cross by canoe if the river is high

A short walk along the beach to the nature pathway entrance

You’ll first pass fields of wild Garza plants … Notice their unique fragrance?

You need to wade along a stream for this section

You’ll view wild exotic flowers, medicinal plants galore and even some fauna of the region if you’re quiet enough

A rocky path sometimes, so be careful!

You’ll pass mini waterfalls and fresh water pools take a dip if you’d like

Sometimes the thick foliage blocks out the sun

The thermal pools at last!

… the 33C warm mineral Water feels great!

This smaller pool is hotter at 47C degrees

Then cool off with this cold natural stream shower

Oooh, that feels sooo good! Wait your turn though …

Soak and relax a while. Then scoop up some mineral mud from the bottom

Crush up some mineral clumps to get sulphur content-rich mud for your facial

Leave the mineral facial mask on for a few minutes giving it time to work its magic …
