and all her bridesmaids began the transformation process at The Mansion on Peachtree. At the time, Bowie and I had never been to this hotel and when we walked in we were totally blown away by its beauty. After a quick walk (and drool) around the hotel, we made our way up to Therese’s suite. She and some of her bridesmaids were well into getting ready. Therese is pictured getting her famous smoky eye shadow applied by Rachael Hoch.
While Therese relaxed and got pampered, Bowie and I began to shoot all her amazing details.

the ladies
What did I tell you guys? This hotel is amazing. Perfectly placed couches. Amazing and dramatic staircases, and slamming beauties. Therese has always been stunning, but on her wedding day she was glowing, perfect and enchanting. A quick glass of champagne, a few shots around the hotel and then it’s off to become David’s wife!

Therese & David had
a very traditional
Catholic ceremony
at The Basilica of
the Sacred Heart of
Jesus in downtown
Atlanta. As I am sure
you can see, Therese
and her family
are Vietnamese
and part of their
ceremony reflected
this. Therese’s
uncle headed up
the ceremony. It
was beautiful, and
even had some
Vietnamese songs
that Therese’s
family sang! It was
traditional with a
nice twist. Sweet and
perfect!
get away
Therese and David exited as husband and wife to a shower of bubbles. They ran off in a Stingray for a little alone time before we started their session.
the bridal party
After Therese and David returned from their time away, we headed over to the Suntrust building for a few photos. After our amazing session there, we headed back to the Mansion on Peachtree to finish up the first part of our session.

After we all had a little break, Bowie and I met the bridal party at the Ventanas! This is by far one of my favorite venues as it’s the best place in Atlanta for skyline views! We hung out on the helicopter pad with the bridal party and finish up their session! We had plenty of time to play, be goofy, and just have fun before the party began!

eat that cake
Therese and David wasted no time getting all the formal stuff out of the way so the party could begin! They cut their beautiful cake, listened to their special toasts and danced a beautiful first dance as husband and wife. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before but I always get so choked up during the bride and grooms first dance. It always takes me back to that magical day almost 8 years ago.

dance & party
Therese and David danced for the first time as husband and wife to The Luckiest by Ben Folds. I had to go back to the video to see what song it was and got choked up just watching a little clip. It was sweet, perfect and there was no one else in the world but Therese and David at that moment. After their dance the party go HOT! Lots of getting down on the dance floor.
As the night winded down friends and family made their way up to the helipad for an epic sparkler exit! It was a perfect ending to a beautiful day.
To Therese and David: Bowie and I are beyond thrilled for you both and wish you the best. Cheers to you, your family and many happy years and parties to come!
