I was completely isolated from my family and financially destitute. I waited for the miracle and it happened. I didn’t want to leave after 90 days. I was terrified that the gifts I had received as a resident would be lost. Gifts like hope, compassion, trust, sobriety, sponsorship and friendship. I signed on for another 9 months so that I could strengthen my foundation and continue my life as a clean and sober woman.
