Important information about Hot & Cold therapyUsing cold therapy as soon as possible after an injury is most beneficial. The cold helps limitthe blood supply to injured areas, and this helps decrease swelling and muscle spasms. Theheat increases local blood supply, bringing healing cells to the area and which helps torelax tight muscles. Heat the pack in the microwave to continue your healing.
