Yes it’s important what grip your child is using. But the control of the pencil needs to also come from looking at what you are doing. Learning to draw and write is aboutcopying what you see in everyday life. To do this you need to pay attention to thosesmall changes in the shapes, letters and numbers you are trying to copy.
