Lyrics and visuals- Some of the lyrics will match the visuals on screen. For
example the lemonade in the artists hand when the lyrics are sippin on your
lemonade.
Music and visuals- The cutting rate of the music video is fast due to the fact
that its an upbeat song.
Star Iconography- How Maya our artist! is being presented through the bright
and colour clothing she wears.
Artist close ups- The demands of our record label and how we promote the
connection between the artist and the audience.
Genres exist having a dance se"uence in the music video to highlight thegenres of an #$% &'& music video.
These are the factors we display in our own music video from (oodwins theory.
)e havent used voyeurism as we believe that our artist isnt one to appeal to

Hall
)e used Stuart Halls theory with regards to the ways in how our
audience can interpret different parts of our music video.
$egotiated*+epending on the personal experiences our audience
has can determine whether or not they thin, our star is in the right
or wrong. The negotiated sector of our audience will interpret the
music video in a way where they agree with some parts and could
disagree with other parts.
'ppositional* This type of viewer will completely re-ect the
interpretations of the music video and interpret it in a different waybased on their own experiences.
+ominant* This type of viewer will completely understand our
storyline and message
